How to post HTML in Warrior Forum?

I don't need this for general threads, but for WSO's or other ad sections. I don't want to screw things up or break any rule, so I'm addressing the community - how should I do it?

Here's an example:

(no affiliate link and no connection with this person's offer - just relevant for my question).

How do I put up a thread like that ?

Is BBCODE(http://www.warriorforum.com/misc.php?do=bbcode) the only Way ?

You cannot use HTML. That would be a serious security issue for the forum. You can only use BB code.

    Thanks, Gene

Now for the ones who have the same issues, let me tell you what I found on the subject to ease up your work:

Yahoo answer about a good free BBCode editor:

A free online HTML to BBCODE convertor:

(not affiliated with the two in any way, just contributing).

    Warrior Forum accepted BBCODES

    Gene,

    Thanks for your "thanks"
Now, I was wondering, under these circumstances. How can I integrate a PayPal Button in one of my WSO's. I mean.. No html - then what should I do ?

What's the catch ? everyone seems to know how to do that.

    Thanks,
    Flavius

Create a Paypal, then click on the Email tab to get a plain text link. It will look something like this :

      http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_longidgoeshere

Now insert an image for your button in your post.

      i.e.

      [img]http://yourdomain.com/path/to/image.ext[/img]

Now highlight that whole code and either click the hyperlink button and paste your paypal text link in it, or manually put URL tags around it.

The end result should look something like this

      [url=http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_longidgoeshere][img]http://yourdomain.com/path/to/image.ext[/img][/url]

    Holla Falvius,

hows your experience with WF till now. I have been into hundreds of threads but didn't saw any HTML thread running.

This is totally true as said by Gene & I can also see that HTML code in the forum is not permitted. If you talk about WF, you can't over ride security checks. As each & every location of the forum is checked most of the times by the respective mods.
