$20 a day

Hey everyone,

My goal is to make 20 dollars a day, I'm thinking of methods I have already leaarned in order to do that. I'm thinking about writing 1 article a day for 90 days then do bum marketing. Is this a good method anymore?

I also have a question or two about article marketing.

1.) Can I use the same articles in my blog that a post to article directories? also can I post the same articles in different directories?

2.) What are good ways to find a starving crowd? I know that's vital for bum marketing. Is it mostly trial and error?

If anyone knows any other methods I should try let me know. Any tips on bum marketing would be great! I'm open to any suggestions

      You CAN do trial and error, but, it will definitely take longer. If you can, I haven't used Micro Niche Finder, but I found Market Samurai to be well worth the investment.

        I think you can, just make sure that the articles get indexed at your blog first.

        I'm not so sure about same articles at different directories. I haven't done that.

    Your going to need write more than one article per day. Second you can post articles from your blog to article sites. I would advise you to use market samurai for niches have a article submit bot. Also a article spinner, there are free ones.

    After you publish them on your site, I would submit them to Ezine - it a little more strict on acceptance but well worth it for the traffic. After it gets accepted at ezine, you can
    1. keep it the same and submit to other directories, im pretty sure it helps with authenticity to keep the same article author name/pen name
    2. slightly change the article (titles, a few sentences here and there) and then submit to directories
    Some people even argue you should change your website articles before submitting to any directories. I don't think that's necessary. I think it's a matter of preference really.


    As far as finding a starving crowd, you have tons of options.

    Also check out this old thread. Don't forget to drill down into micro niches, you don't want to waste your time targeting huge markets you have no chance of competing in.

    I would follow what others said and do some quality keyword research. I believe Market Samurai has their keyword research tool for free download, definitely a must for any marketer's arsenal. It will help you find really good longtail keywords.

    Already some great tips given but the first question that hit me when I read your post was... why $20 per day? Is this just a starting point to prove you can make it work?

    What is your overall goal?

    I ask because you can do plenty of things that you hate doing and make $20 per day. Instead, why not decide what you want out of life and business and determine a plan as to how you can do things you enjoy to ultimately reach a level of income that makes you comfortable?

      I chose $20 a day because I have a goal to purchase a duplex in 3 years. I want to live in one side and rent the other to help pay the mortgage. I work full time for my father who owns a Truck Tire Company. I dont mind that work at all. What im getting at is my goal is to put away $125 every week for 3 years I will have $19,600 for a down payment. I have been keeping up with this goal as of now but it is getting very hard with the economy and more bills etc. I have considered getting a part time job but the hours wont be flexible and i need them to be flexible since i work full time for my father. Sometime i dont have to work till 10am and work till 6pm or sometimes i get up at 4am and end work at 12pm so i cant have a part time job. At least with the internet i can jump on when i have free time.

      P.S.- If i start making more then $20 a day i wont be complaining I'd love to be able to make alot more then that but i want to take one step at a time.

        Maybe this is a bit off topic but I think a better suggestion to reach your goal would be to become an article writer on here!

        You can easily make 20$ a day starting tomorrow on this forum if you list your services as an article writer in the "Warrior For Hire" section like so many others are doing. You can make $1 per 100 written words (that seems to be the going rate on here). If you can manage to write 4 - 500 word articles a day, that's $20 for you right there instantly (minus paypal fees). You need a paypal account to get started as well as the time to write articles daily. With your odd working hours I think you can manage.

        It would only take most likely 2-4 hours(starting out as a complete beginner and doing research on the topic needed in an article) to write 4 - 500 word articles, and as you get in the zone and realize what people want you'll be able to reduce that time down a lot.

        Over time you can begin rising your prices as you become more experienced and get positive feedback flowing in from your fellow warriors who have bought an article from you.

        $20 a day can be easily accomplished in so many ways. Just thought I'd offer that as a suggestion if you're looking for money "right now" to begin saving.

          I sincerely appreciate your suggestion, i'm not trying to make excuses but I'm not very good at writing i wouldn't consider it my strong point. I need a lot of practice before i could even consider selling articles. I don't want to start off with a bad reputation. At least if they're for myself the worse that could happen is i wont get any sale from that article.

          Also i would like to put in the hard work and have different projects on auto pilot.

            I suggest you practice improving your writing skills while writing articles for yourself, since you stated you're interested in the BUM marketing method. Start out by writing 1 article a day for a week. Work on including keywords and an emotional appeal to your target audience.

            Once you get comfortable with writing and posting every day, then go on to 2 articles per day, then 3. Focus on quality content and a signature line that is all about getting the reader to visit your site because it offers a big benefit.

            Commit to this plan don't get distracted. Your articles will eventually bring you in some targeted buyers.

            Not everybody wants to, or needs to become an article writer for hire to make $20 per day.

    I agree.

    Recommending article writing for someone who's not good at writing article is a poor advice. They'll start off writing crappy articles which will give them a bad reputation for clients. Besides, if a newbie is at good at writing articles, he/she would've done article marketing to make money by now.

    Not everyone is cut out to write a good article for a quick buck.

    But the point is, you can make a quick bucket by selling your skills on here -- writing, programming, graphic design, etc.

    Id like to do this too but i cant write articles to save my life cause it sounds like im promoting the product and it gets removed.

    Currently on clickbank my stats are 400hops 45 impressions and 1 sumbit 0 sales

    ive been just posting stuff in facebook niches and groups (gaming)

    i have only had success with one blog in the past which got nearly 70000 views in a few months when i was 13 that was the club penguin niche

    but i am trying to get my sites into social bookmarking and RSS feeds ect but nothing is working for me

    ive even tried the 16 year old millionaire thinking i could do it but it was a bad guide written by the guy who wrote retired millionaire it even used the same tesimonials and definatly not written by a 16 year old xD

      LOL ur articles have the opposite problem to mine. I never got out of the habit of writing like i am still in uni so a am great ad doing review style stuff but I couldn't write a post that was aimed at selling if my life depended on it

    My problem with BUM marketing is more the fact i can't find starving crowds, this is where i always get stuck. When i first started i went from one niche to the other all time BAD idea. So now i wanna fix my mistake stick to a niche and just write write write and promote as much as possible but i dont wanna stick to the wrong niche. I dont really have the money for micro niche finder at this very moment. I wish had a 30 day trial of the full program or something.

    I would go with adsense or some type of high converting CPA offers. The CPA network that I recommend for Im newbie is Peerfly. They are the easiest to work with and get approve with in my opinion.

    Hey I just read a pretty good guide on bum marketing for micro niches in it, it said that I should write 3 articles a day for that niche. Which is pretty common I can do that, but what if your niche is so small you can't. Write that much about it? Do you right articles that are basically saying the same thing? Or is that a waste of time?

    If you want to make $20 a day then I would suggest you locate continuity programs and promote those as an affiliate. Unless what you do is scalable and repeatable you will eventually max out or burn out or both! While article marketing is one way to go, you could very easily dodge the issues surrounding weak writing skills and engage on social media. Then you could inject links to programs you believe in AND that pay on a continuous basis. With this approach you could build up to your monthly revenue and maintain it without constantly always feeling like a hamster on a wheel. Just my 2 cents.

    To find a starving crowd, try EZA. And find some "immediate pain relief" or "instant gratification" articles that are pointing to affiliate products. Promote those to make $20 a day.

    When choosing a product to sell from CB and there isn't much gravity does that mean no one else is selling it? Or does it mean that its not selling?

    Also whats too low of a gravity and too high of a gravity? Just to give myself a rough idea.
