$2,000+ a month marker: Advice, Help, Suggestions, Tips?

I was interested to see if any of you currently making $2,000 or more had some tips on how to get there.

Right now I'm sitting on about $600 a month through Adsense, CJ, and AZ. My next step is to start selling ebooks on a few of my sites.

Do any of you that make enough money to live on have any words of wisdom or advice for someone that's trying to break through that $1,000 wall and beyond?

No better advice than from someone that's already done it.

I'll take any advice, technical or philosophical.

    Sorry, but your question is way to broad to receive any type of meaningful answer. Basically, what you're asking is: "how do I make a full time income online?".

      No, I'm not asking for a complete blueprint but just tips, principals, and some helpful words like people have given. I've developed a system decent enough for $600 and I know I'll break through the $2000 barrier at some point, but I'd rather do it sooner than later and maybe something in here will help me (already has).

      You never know what will push you over the top. There's already a few words of wisdom in here that have really helped me.

      Thanks very much to everyone for their insight and info. Sometimes you are aware of certain things but they aren't in the forefront of your conscious.

    when I was stuck on this annoying level of $2000 bucks a month I kept going over things, coming to the warrior forum, asking my marketing friends. Then one day at a seminar I bit the bullet and got the confidence to ask mike filsaime what I should do.

    Here is what he said to me

    Get more affiliates, get more products out there, never stop creating celente.

    Two months later and I went from $2000 to $4000 then I just replicated, more articles, more affiliate, with better info on how to teach them to promote, and more products for them to choose from.

    I cant believe how easy it was to go from $2000 to $4000, yes it was a bit of hard work, but then viola!!!!

    I now make 5 figures per month. But it is all about mindset. i was not ready to move on from the 2000 mark back then, but I sure am hell are now. So change your mindset, and think the biggest you can, and follow your intution.

    But like I said, it is all about more affiliates (= more traffic anc sales) and more products (because people dont just like one thing)

    It is a bit of hard work, but how bad do you want to increase your monthly profits. When I wanted it bad enough it came. But realistically you need more traffic and that will bring you sales.

    One of my niche sites is now number 7 on clickbank, and keeps climbing up google.... I get something like 9000 unique hits a day. So if you are getting traffic, you need to do the same things you are doing now, but ramp it up to the power of 7 to get more. Simply.

    But in the end for me, the quickest way to double your results, is more affiliates and more products for you list to buy. You are closer than you think, so keep going and good luck.

      While I agree with this, it is all about action.

      If you can make $1 online, you have not failed. You have made money. While it is not enough to live on, you have just broken the barrier and your mindset to take you to the next level. There will be some testing and failures obviously, but subliminally you know you have something that has worked. In a way, that eggs you on to take more action and to see more results. 90% of the time you will normally do the right things and earn more money, but you are still in the newbie stage.

      when you get to the OP level (intermediate) This area is tricky. You are making money but have lost the passion of your first $1 online. When you get to $2000 you know what you are doing is right, but you feel the barrier, and it drives you crazy. How do I know? cause I have been there before I had some major breakthroughs. You have to breakthrough on the mindset side, as it will play with you alot.

      Once you can do that, and write out a plan, leverage and realise the true power of OUTSOURCING (my biggest secret) you will not only be on your way to $4000 a month, but then $8000, $10,000, $50,000 then wherever you know in your mind you can go.

      Sky is the limits really. But first baby steps. It was easier for me to double my monthly profits first. Then try to beat that the next month. Give yourself goals, work hard, and reap the rewards.

      Do not let anyone bring you down, and tell you all it is a pipe dream. I can now pay for my wifes $500 pair of shoes because of my niche marketing. She was a naysayer and I rub that in her face every DAY! LOL

      You will succeed, never give up, and never say never. You are the master of your own destiny. Thomas Edison failed what? 100 times before he found something that worked. Learn from that. Try and try till u succeed, Tis why I do not understand newbies giving up after one or two goes. Keep going, work hard and success will be yours. Good luck!

    a) Believe you can do it. - "...Nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so - Shakespeare" If you don't believe you can do it, you are right. If you believe you can, you are right.

    b) Keep doing what you are doing, learn how to systemize what you are doing, and build bigger and better systems.

    What the above are saying is 100% on track. I am a newbie myself, hell I only signed for this forum this morning!

    I recently made my first affiliate sale through amazon, I can definitely agree that the first $1 (or $4 in my case) you make is the hardest part. Once you have a system that shows results it's all about doing the same thing, over and over again. That first sale inspires you and if you can do it once, you can do it again and again and again.

    Hard to say without knowing more about your business, but it sounds like you can use a refined sales funnel.

    Adding ebooks is a good start, but think beyond that.

    For example, if you're site is about improving a golf swing... Get them on a mailing list, then you can sell your ebooks, golf clubs, balls, clothing, books, etc.

    Push them through a good sales funnel, and you'll make more money per person, which is a lot easier than trying to get new customers.

    It is like what other IM say and they are labeled "the three R's" in my opinion.

    Research- take some time to yourself and write down some new things you would like to do and make out a plan to do it. Stay consistent and the earnings will build up.

    Rinse- Once you found out how to do this, start all over again and

    Repeat- Do the things that you started out doing and keep at it.
