Posting a free offer in the WSO forum?

Hey guys

I've been lurking around this forum for a little while now and it is awesome. I have one quick question...

Do you think it would be worth offering a free report through the WSO forum? I really want to build my email list and this might be a good way to do it.

I have a free report called Ultimate List Building which I have created and I am really thinking about doing this.

Do you think it could get me some subscribers? I think I have a pretty good report and people will like it.

    You won't know until you try it. For the cost, it would be crazy not to try your offer out.

    About 99% you will get some opt ins lol.

    I tend to think if their willing to pay $10 to give me some free information ill optin and stay in lol but that's me.

    It has been a while since I did a free WSO, but it was well worth it for me. I offered a free report download and did not force people into opting in to download, I gave them the option to opt in for updates and a bonus. I got about 200 opt ins just on that alone.

    I had a backend offer in the report and overall it made me around $2,000 between the 2 times I listed it. The reason I did not force the opt in was because I wanted the report in as many peoples hands as possible for the backend offer not just to build a list. The buyers were more important to me at that time.

    You just have to decide on what you want. The list of opt ins up front or structure it with a backend offer of some kind to get opt ins or buyers.
