Whats Up Warriors,

Okay, this might have been already discussed before, but what is the best host (price, speed, service, etc..) available?

My problem is that my website on Joomla :

hot-christmas-deals.com is slow as hell and it looks like it's because of my host.

I also have 40 websites like black-nintendo-ds-lite.com and stuff like this hosted on the same account and I pay approx. 50$ per year (very cheap) on iWeb.ca.

If I want to make an easy host change and go to something more performing, where should I look at? Price is not a big deal but I look (like everybody) for the cheapest one with the best quality

Thanks!

You may consider hostgator, bluehost or powweb(no cpanel) for affordable and reliable Shared Hosting.

What about the speed? What about the host transfer process?

you need to evaluate, what your Businesss/website needs
after you'v done that try making a list of hosting companies that fit into those spectrum of services and then maby try looking for cost efficiency, but remember spending the extra Dollar is sometimes very wise.

Obviously this is time consuming, but you'll make the correct choice.

Host Gator gets my vote as well. I have two servers with them for Free Traffic Bar and Internet One System and also host some client sites with them.

Great service and they have the Fantastico script installed so you can easily install add-ons like Wordpress, Geeklog, phpAdsNew, etc.

Hostgator is your best choice if you are tight on budget, otherwise get a vps.

HostGator looks pretty good. I called them and got great answers and they offer free site transfers as well with a delay of 24 to 72hrs and your website never go offline. I like that.

I'm happy with Lunarpages. Switching hosts will take time especially with so many sites. Just make sure to backup all your files and databases.

I use BlueHost and I am 110% satisfied with them. The only thing they couldn't help me with was when I wiped out my folder and asked for the back up. The back up was deleted because I waited too long to ask them for it.

Not too sure about hostgator. They were fast, most of the time. Every once in a while things slow to a grinding halt and I get them online asking questions and I would get the deer in a headlight look. Eventually, they would fess up and tell me that they had to reboot theirs server, etc.

I'm with apthost now and with a reseller account. What I really like about these guys is:
    1. standard cpanel - important for automation (hostgator -not)
    2. ability to easily migrate to a faster/more dedicated platform.
    3. with reseller account, I can monitor cpu loading on the server I'm using.
    4. Can easily get as many dedicated IP's I would desire.
