i wish i can help but i had an idea but i dont really know if it will work....

try to look for a JV. one that can post in WSO, correct me if that is against WSO guidelines...

You say the books have resell rights, but do they also have give away rights? That is what I would want to do with them if I purchased.

You're not wrong. I just found the rule:

(5) No Affiliate Links Allowed - Promote Your Own Domain/s Only. It's either this or we have to cut out sig files altogether which we do not want to do.

i was once in jenny's situation and i thought that if only some guru who can make lots of money in a few hours can just pick me by the hand and actually show me step by step like come to my place in front of the computer and make money that instant.

but that time when i needed money the most.. i still had to invest to make money.

what if some warrior who really had experience in making money fast without investment help jenny.

honestly.. if i knew how to make $1500 in a week or less.. i would help jenny.. but thing is.. im a newbie too.

Which niches do the ebooks cover? Which markets are interested in those ebooks?

Which needs and problems of those markets can be satisfied and solved by the benefits provided by those ebooks?

Once you find out: Google other forums with discussions relevant to those niches and markets...

Pinpoint those with marketplaces for selling ebooks or digital info products with resell or master resell rights...

Sign up as a member of those forums...
In those forums: Contribute useful updated information and advice relevant to the needs and problems
of people potentially interested in those ebooks...

The content you contribute on those forums should also be relevant to the content of those ebooks...

Once you establish yourself as a friendly expert source of useful updated content relevant to the needs and problems of your target markets:
Post those ebooks for sale on the marketplaces of those forums...
Then: Update your forum sig to point to your marketplace posts...

You could also opt to ask a couple of well known members there if they're interested in review copies...
Include their reviews in your marketplace posts...

Continue contributing useful content on those forums...
You need 80 sales to get $1600 at $20/sale...
If you focus on 4 forums with highly relevant discussions and a membership base collectively worth 2000 people:
You need to get the attention of 1% of the collective membership base of those 4 forums then build mutually beneficial relationships with them...

All the ebooks are in the IM niche. They cover topics like traffic generation, niche selection, income streams etc.

This is the reason that I would like to sell it here. I think it could be useful to warriors. Newbies could get valuable info from them and the old hands could use it as value added products to sell or give away to there subscribers.

I think I am offering it at a great price, which is why I want to offer it to warriors. I love this forum!

To achieve your objective of offering it to Warriors: You could write in your sig a message saying
interested Warriors can contact you via email to get more details about those ebooks and purchase all of it
at a "For Warriors Only" discounted price...

To possibly achieve your objective of getting $1500 in the next few weeks:

I really need to sell some of these books, hell, if i could post a new thread just asking for $20 donations, I would of done that! Thought I would offer a little value in return for the generous donations!

I'm actually currently helping two Warriors to get an IM business going. I don't charge anything, I just did it because they had a good attitude and want to learn.

The thing is, I'm teaching them to have a sustainable business, not how to just make "x" amount by the end of the month. I understand why you need to do that. For someone totally new, from a standing start, it may prove difficult to achieve, though not impossible at all.

If this is the only thing you have in mind to make the money, I'd respectfully suggest you do consider other options. As great as it'd be to make the money, it's not 100%.

Though I agree with Marx, 1 month is not a lot of time to gain a reputation on any forum, though I do accept, it's one of your better options.

One way I like to look at this is to say...I need $1600 in a month, that's 30 days, so just $53 a day. $53 always sounds nicer to me than $1600.

If you want to learn how to do this as long term thing, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction but this is a business, like any other business and not a get rich quick scheme.

It is absolutely my wish and my intention to get into the IM business. As I mentioned in my first post I have found someone willing to help. This eBook sale is by no means a business module. I just need some quick cash now to tide me over.

Jenny, it shouldn't be that hard to scrape up $20. Have you considered offering services such as article writing, graphics/banners, blog set up, etc. (depending on what you can do fairly well, of course). It shouldn't take any more than 1-3 hours of focused work to be able to make that $20 - it might take even less time than it took you to post this thread, monitor it and post your responses.

I think I am fairly good at writing, but how easy, or hard would it be to get paying gigs with no experience behind me? It seems that most people want to see a sample of your work.

Since I have not written any articles yet, I do not have samples? How do I overcome that problem?

Just sit down and knock out a couple, then add that option to your sig.

Also have you considered ebay?
You pay your fees at the end of the month, by when you should have generated a fair amount towards your figure.

Wish there was an easy way to jump start an IM business, but if there is I don't know it

Jenny, this may not pay a lot, but it'd be great for getting your feet wet. Try Fiverr or sites similar to it - though the rate per article is nothing to shout about, you'll gain some experience and samples aren't really required.

How about getting a cheap .info and cheap hosting and setting up a single page site with just a sales letter on it then posting the link in your signature? That should help a bit, if it is not original.

  To me, this is still the FASTEST way for someone new to things to make money right away.
  
  Granted, it is still very much like a JOB. But you can use it as a way to make some money...first to pay your bills and then to invest in building a business online.

Well the MMO niche is always hard for two reasons. One if you've not made any money online and secondly, it's a very, very competitive niche.

I've been involved in IM for 7 years and not one of the niches I'm in has anything to do with the MMO niche.

If you want to have a chat on Skype I can show you some free things you can watch to learn the basics. Sometimes we need to take a step back and see what we're doing wrong.

  You can sell ebooks that are not your own work on tradebit as long as you have the resale rights, and it's free to list... Just type the name of your ebook in the search and everyone else who is selling it on there will come up, under cut them all and if it's a popular ebook you'll get sales as yours is cheapest. If sales are slow just get more ebooks on their with PLR or MRR and then resell them undercutting the competition, get as many as you can on there!!!

Hi Jenny. Don't know if you've thought of this but, do you have a decent voice? Or have you done any acting? You could look into starting a voice-over career. It may sound hard or expensive, but it really isn't either. It IS competitive, but if you have more time than money, you could get started pretty much right away.

The hard part for most people is that they don't know how to record the audio. Or they think that part is expensive. But neither one is really true anymore. Of course you do have to have a little bit of knowledge. But fortunately that knowledge is out there. I've written a gazillion articles on audio recording from home, even how to get started doing voice-overs. Here's one that, should this interest you at all, would be a great place to start (not that I am biased or anything

Just a couple of points...

In your OP, you say that the eBooks have Resale and Master Resale rights, but in your sig, you imply that they also have giveaway rights. Are you sure about that?

Also, just stating that you have a collection of IM eBooks is unlikely to entice many buyers or encourage enquiries. Most members will have hundreds of IM eBooks already sitting on their hard drives. You'll need to provide some more info.

To do that, you could certainly create a simple (and free) Blogger blog, listing the eBooks in more detail and giving a download link (I'm assuming you have a PayPal account). If you managed to get your sig up, you can manage to put up a Blogger blog, and there are simple-to-follow instructions given.

If you did that, it would be within the forum rules to link to your blog in your sig.

Thank you to everyone that is contributing! It is great to have a place to come to when in need! I have someone who has generously offered to help kickstart my IM career which is ultimately where I want to be. The selling of the eBooks is just a way to get out of my current dilema. Thought is would be an easy way to make some extra quick cash, but starting to wonder...

As far as I can tell, most of them have giveaway rights, busy going through the license agreements one by one at the moment, as someone else pointed that out to me earlier.... What do I know? I am new to all this.

The simple truth is - you can't build an online business that will earn $1500 in the next eleven days. There is no magic and unfortunately "need" is only useful if it motivates you to get off the fence and do something.

You posted elsewhere about spending time and money looking but not finding something you wanted to do. That's not unusual for someone new - but you can't start from no-site and no-technical ability and be able to create great profit in 11 days online. The only chance you have is to sell something or offer services.

You could resell ebooks in a classified ad - but I doubt you could resell $1500 worth. If you own rights, others probably do, too. A WSO should not even be mentioned because, as you said, it does not apply. If you sell the books, be sure to include proof of "rights" to avoid problems.

I agree that writing may be your only clear option - but you do need to know keyword usage/density (easy to learn). You could place an ad in Warriors for Hire but as a new writer you will need to be competitive in pricing with other English as first language writers.

Perhaps if you run a classified for the boosk and combine that with an ad for content writing you can get at least part of what you need.

To do that, you could certainly create a simple (and free) Blogger blog, listing the eBooks in more detail and giving a download link (I'm assuming you have a PayPal account). If you managed to get your sig up, you can manage to put up a Blogger blog, and there are simple-to-follow instructions given.

Yep, this can get someone that initial $ for a WSO or something with very little work. But I do think you have to wait for payment? Not sure how that all works.

I agree with Kay. Your 1500 is a steep hill, especially if you have not made any money online before.

I'm not going to say "don't try" but I wouldn't bet my cash on your pony with everything I do know.

I have seen people with lots of skills attempt a big cash injection in a short period in the past, and even they fail.

If Uncle Louie is coming to cut off your feet in the next 2 weeks if you don't have the money, I would suggest scraping up what you can and using it to buy some wooden feet.

Sorry to sound like a negative Nancy, but unless you can convince me that you know some kind of massive secret or you can write programs for NASA, you may want to spend a few minutes really looking for ways you can scrape some of these funds up offline.

I believe that there's a 14 day hold on your balance at Fiverr, though I wouldn't be surprised if some of the sites that compete with it offer more attractive payment terms.

Hi Jenny,

I candidly think that you may start by bring out few major points you think would entice people to patronize the ebooks and compile them in just 4 or 6 pages FREE GIVE AWAY.

Make sure that you include the link to the immediate reduced price sales for the 'lucky few'.

Now, the logic is that if the ebooks are that great, as you mentioned, there would be enough triggers on the points in the free give away that will make huge percentage of those that took the free give away to drop the few bucks to grab the 'entire meal'.

This will not be bad for a start and who knows, you may earn much more than the amount you are presently looking for.

My feeling about this is that for quick emergency cash situations...offline sources are your best bet. Is there anyone in your personal circle who you can call on for a mini loan?

You could offer to pay it back in installments.

Some offline service suggestions that could pay you cash money:

Offer to clean homes, run errands, haul trash, babysit, house sit, tutor, pet sit, clean out attics or basements, organize closets, clean windows, walk dogs, etc.

If your situation is as desperate as you say, you'll need to be realistic and stop looking for an online solution that isn't going to happen. You simply don't have the time right now.

Hi Jenny,
You seem to be good a good writer and people always need content in all kinds of niches. If you write 20 articles, approx 400 words each and sell them in a wso with PLR or even MRR.

Writing the articles isn't that hard, there are several guides here on the forum you can follow to write the articles the way marketers wants them written.

Pick a competitive niche where demand for content always is high like weight loss, dating etc

If you pull that off, you are on your way. If your articles sell and are in demand you probably write 20 more articles and sell them to your previous buyers.

I'm NOT an article writer (used to write everything myself) but I'm your potential buyer and there are thousands of us here at WF.

i would vote for fiverr as the quickest way. go throught the services that are offered in there and write down which ones you can do like article writing, testimony, holding up a banner, wishing someone happy birthday, making a video mentioning someones birthday, etc.

probably you can teach someone to register a domain, get hosting and install wordpress through skype...

check it out. list down all the gigs you can do and start posting it!

My advice to you is go to Ebay...Ebay has no problem, since all your Ebooks have master resell rights. Go ahead and SELL THEM! But...I don't think you will have the amount of cash fast through ebay, since, personally, I don't buy any ebooks over there. But It worth the try and you won't speed almost nothing.

Online business is never ment to be a get rich quick scheme. I suggest you , find a job, any job, who cares! but on the side, always move forward with your IM Biz...I hope this suggestion helped you...

By the time you learn all this , I am sure your next bills are going to be due.
I am sure all WF Members are giving you great ideas and they are worth a lot. You should keep learning them as they will help you do a lot over the coming months. But here is something I can do for you.

and host it for you (no charges), give you some inside tips and you can start generating some revenue by the end of 2 weeks. I will rather partner with you.

The only thing is, you need to promise me, you will continue doing that business if it works out! No money requried to invest. And yes, the content has to come from you.
And I mean a lot of content (writing skills required). Can you do that?

This goes for all IM's if they have something of value to sell.
I have learnt a lot form WF and its time I started helping people with the skills I have.
