Fed Up With Article Marketing? Try This Often Overlooked Method!

Hi Guys,

I though I would post here with a method that is sometimes overlooked when you want to make money in your niche.

Article Marketing is awesome but I always say that you should use it in conjunction with other methods for best results.

So what is the method I am talking about :

Forum Marketing!

If you do a search on Google I am sure you will find a forum in your niche and then all you need to do is join up and provide QUALITY content, I am not talking about spamming with your affiliate or website links but more about joining and helping to solve problems.

You will get quite a bit of traffic from your signature.

    Forum marketing is probably the better of the 2 for start-ups and quick responses.
    Article marketing is great for SEO and traffic over time.

    I can write an article in about 1/2 - 1 hour that will go viral and generate backlinks and long-term traffic.

    I also try to spend about the same amount of time per day in the forums.

    One post in a forum can generate as many hits in one day as an article will in a week but, then it gets buried and is never heard from again.

    It's a shame though a great deal of forums really suck .. If many would follow the master Allen then this would be a much better world ..lol

      Well I'm a huge fan of article marketing (obviously since I run a plr article site). But I agree that forum marketing is awesome!

      However I would also state that I think it's only good if you know how to do it correctly. I've seen a lot of people waste time on forums claiming to be "working" when really they are just chatting.

      So yes, I love forum marketing as long as I can still feel like I'm being productive and implementing other methods of online marketing.

      What kind of "forums" are you referring to from 1977? Or did you mean 1997?

    I like that idea.

    I have trouble finding forums in certain niches that allow signatures though. Like the diet niche. I have a great free report and (I think) a well written autoresponder series but I am struggling to find forums that will allow me to place a sig in them.

    sometimes you write a post for a forum thats just too good to let sit as a response in a forum, and with a little tweaking is an entire article...

    Thank you for the info. When I signed up to WF I put a link in my sig just for fun to one of my sites so I could be like everybody else but it's just a hobby site and not intended to convert. I always wondered if forum posts were worth the time to intentionally drive traffic. Since I've never been the forum type- I never realized how much people participated till lately. I can see how it could work.
