xsitepro backup

Hi, I use XSitepro version 1 and have made several sites on my laptop. I want to backup these websites onto a memory stick to ensure they are never lost should my laptop not work.
Are any members of this forum using XSitepro version 1 and can I just confirm that this is straightforward.... simply by going to 'tools' and selecting 'back up'. Am I still able to make changes to the website on the laptop? and if laptop did not work then I could load XSitepro into another pc and use the memory stick to get the sites available again,
Just not wanting to do anything wrong with this as I do not want to lose my websites,
Am I best to back up each individual website? Thanks

    When you do a backup it will just save the current files on your PC from where you can transfer it to an external hard drive or whatever.

    You can then continue editing your sites as usual but remember t back it up again every now and again.

    If something happens you can just import your sites again to Xsitepro from te backups you made.
