Question: Does Paypal enable list-building of buyers?

INTERNET MARKETING

I am about to start selling an information product via a simple "sales page" site that contains the sales copy and "buy now" button.

I'm going to use Paypal as the payment processor.

I want to be able to send buyers additional offers in the future.

Does Paypal enable me to easily collect the contact info (email addresses) of previous buyers, or do I need to do something else to trap this information?

paypal can't collect data as well as do the payment , basically they're just a medium for you to process the payment. So, it's better if you :
1. put optin box in the thx page (after payment)
2. if you're affiliate marketing, give special incentive if they are willing to sign up in your optin box after they buy. (you can send them manual email once they buy from you)

I think there is a program that can do it. I'm using it myself it's DLGuard. It automatically capture the buyers email but you will have to use aweber. Hope this help

Paypal and Aweber can do it together: i.e. if you have an Aweber account look under Email Parser to learn more.
