A/B Split Testing for Amazon Sales

by far the biggest issue i've had with A/B split testing is you need the 'coversion' page to be part of your domain network as you need to embed the conversion tracking code on it.

however this is a pain in the butt if your an affiliate promoting say Amazon products. you can't just run over to Amazon and embed your tracking code on it.

you need to create a "thank you for clicking my link, now i know i wasted your time but please now click this other link to go to the real Amazon page i promised you but lied about which is why you're here, o yea and please buy something so i don't take a sharp hit in my sales this month, thank you" page so you can actually perform split tests.

is there a better way of doing split tests than this? without losing a great deal of customers

Instead of linking to the affiliate. Link to a php page that records the data and then redirects them to the affiliate.
