What is the best affiliate product you promote or promoted?

There are numerous affiliate products out there that can be promoted. I'm just wondering what were some of the most successful products promoted. Some people will not be willing to share how much money they have made...but if you don't mind, please share. I want to promote something legit but has a high conversion rate. I know it also depends on how well I promote the product.

Based on your own experiences, what is/were the best affiliate product that you promoted that made you a lot of money? And if you wanna share how you promoted the products...that would be helpful too!

That would be great. Its been consistently converting between 3-5% from targeted traffic, and there aren't many other affiliates promoting it.

Years ago, I had some good success promoting web hosting companies. At first I was naive and just put up a site where I listed those hosts that paid good commissions!

But then I actually researched the market very thoroughly and found out that some of the ones I listed were actually not too good.

I then felt a bit ashamed of myself, and stopped recomending the bad ones.
Now I got some traffic and sales by regularly visiting the largest web hosting related forums, and making helpful posts there.

I had a link to my site in the signature, and enough people found their way to my site, and bought web hosting from my links, that I made an OK living for a while.

Alas, so many people copied that tactic, and with low-quality web sites, that my method was no longer effective. But it brought in most of a year's income.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do at weekends? What'll get you out of bed on a cold wet morning?

Find an affiliate product that answers those questions and you'll be able to make good money promoting it because you'll have a passion for it.

It may not be the best affiliate product ever but it'll give you a chance to learn and earn while doing something you enjoy.

Once you've got the hang of that, then move on to affiliate products for purely commercial reasons - or create your own product and get your own affiliates - that's the really profitable way forward.
