How to Find an Old WF Post?

Hi Warriors,

I need some help.

Many months ago, someone posted their method for getting traffic from Twitter to their Wordpress website.

The post was something about using your keywords combined with trending topics on Twitter to drive traffic to your blog. The method was pretty much automated, but as I recall, nothing shady about it. I don't remember if it involved a specific Wordpress plugin.

Trouble is, I can't find it anymore! I know my description is vague and my request is probably ridiculous given how vague it is, but can you help me find it? I'd bookmarked it, but back in Dec., my computer repair guy had to wipe my hard drive clean and re-install my OS along with all of my data due to a bad case of viruses. So I lost all of my bookmarks.

All I can tell you is the post was about getting traffic from Twitter, the post was in the main discussion forum here and the post is older than 2012. I think it was either posted in 2011 or some time in 2010. I have no idea who posted it.

I've done a search here on the WF, but for some odd reason, the results only go back to the beginning of this year. I also did an in site search on Google, but didn't find it there either.

Any other ideas how I might find it? I might go back to the Google in site search, but I already went several search pages deep and didn't find it.

Thanks for any help!

Michelle

Thanks so much for helping me! I really appreciate it.

It's not the post I'm looking for, but at this point, I'll take any help I can get for getting traffic from Twitter. I know my request was ridiculously vague, but it's all I could remember.

I read through the post quickly and need to go back and try out the method to see what results I might get from it.

Thanks so much for your help!

        Michelle,
When you go to Search, do an advanced search.
In the box where it says all posts from: - select 1 year ago, and then to the right and select 'AND OLDER'
This will take you on back to all of the older posts.

        Hope this might help.

Click the "search" link above, third one from the right in the navigation bar. There are some options for a more advanced search as well, you should be able to find it.

This may or may not help...

Whenever I want to find something on WF, I'll do a Google Site search, in the following format:

    site:warriorforum.com keywords

In this instance I took some words from your post:

site:warriorforum.com traffic wordpress twitter keywords trending

    Google

Not sure if the thread you want is in that list, but it could help.

    Kindest regards,
    Karl.

[edit] I did only skim read your OP - so, forgive the obvious method that you've already taken
