Email Marketing Question

Hello everyone, I've got a really newb question so bare with me please. I'm promoting a clickbank which I'll be using a newspaper classified to drive traffic to it.

I'm doing a direct link (301) from website to my clickbank affiliate page, is there a way to setup a pop up page that prompts for an email submission, but if they decline they will be forwarded to my affiliate link. Thanks

I notice your a War Room Member. There is a software in that area called ALM Pro. It gives you the ability to have a pop-up optin box on any website. They stay on your affiliate site. Very cool.

Aweber offers a free lightbox popup. Look it up in Webforms.

I use popup domination, which is the most professional looking in my opinion.

If you are using 301 redirect and you are famliar with .htaccess you can write a rewrite cond and rewrite rule and do the same thing. But if you have no idea then stick with the software it is a lot simpler. Here is one of the sites here Redirect Visitors To a New Page or Site - Htaccess & PHP Redirection

I think you should go with a simple squeeze page and follow up on leads this way, instead of trying to use complicated tools to redirect visitors to your affiliate page.

Ok really newb question, if I direct the user to my squeeze page where they can opt in for a free report and then do a 301 to my affiliate page is this a normal course of action? Thanks Rocco

Just use a simple redirect plug in .. send the initial traffic to your site and ask for their info (in trade for ..) if they give you the info .. automatically redirect via AR .. if not the redirect plug will send them to the affiliate offer upon trying to exit.

Just a heads up, you may have better experience than I did, but years ago I tried using newspapers to drive traffic to clickbank offers and I lost a lot of money doing it. I actually didn't do bad with the traffic, but very few people purchased. Make sure you use a very well converting offer and also make sure the newspaper you want to advertise in allows websites url's without a phone number too, which many won't. I hope you have better luck than I do, I would test before I put a lot of money into it though. Good luck
