A neat trick to get tons of click-thrus from your articles..

Yo, Hi all! Been doing some testing and experimenting lately, and i came up with a pretty cool way of getting, not only high CTR volume for my articles on EZA, but also getting the traffic to convert to optins!
Its very simple actually, lets say for example, i write and submit an article on 'How to train your parrot to speak like a pro'. At the end of the article, in the resource box, say something like, 'To watch a video demonstration of this article, visit xx.com today. Hurry, the video will be pulled off from the masses soon!'
This trick helped increased the clicks from my articles to my sites. Next, on your site, get a vid about the relevant niche topic, post it on the site, and get your visitors to opt-in to watch part 2 of that video.

    Videos have a higher perceived value and higher entertainment value. It's more interesting than just to say, "Visit xyz.com for more information on how you can..."

    And that's not all...

    Having videos not only increase CTR for articles but also CTR for sales (that's where the profits are). So any internet marketer will want to have more videos on your site.

    For such a simple method of obtaining clicks to your website this is really an amazingly powerful method. The terms "Video Demonstration" are huge attention attractors and the sense of urgency is what ultimately sends the visitor over the edge and compels them to click thru to your website.

    Particlularly interesting is how this method can be used for nearly every niche based on the video demonstration. Some niches are probably suited a little better such as golf - there are plenty of golf videos you could use as your demonstration video. Martial Arts also immediately comes to mind as another niche that would work extremely well.............heck, probably any craft site would also see a huge influx of traffic from this method.

      Cool tip. If I'm going to implement this to an old article, and edit the resource box, wouldn't that affect its current search engine position?

      Like when I edit it and it has to be re-submitted for approval by EZA, would there be any change in the article's current ranking?

        As long as you don't change the article title or anything else with the article you should be ok. However, keep in mind if you change an article on Ezinearticles.com it must meet their current TOS and this could cause you a problem if your article was grandfathered in based on an older TOS.

        There is a chance your article doesn't get accepted this time and that would be problamatic for you and your traffic generation/online earnings.

        Thanks for the kind words. Here is another tip: Spend some time on yahoo answers, answer relevant questions (NOT spam!) and refer them back to your article url. You can build up credibilty fast, and gain more traffic as well with this method..

            Yep, Y! is on to that and those folks gaming the system are banned swiftly. It's an old blackhat technique that isn't a secret anymore.

            I wonder if Y! goes so far as to discover the "promoted site" then de-index it from their SERPs... love to know if anyone has encountered this before.

    People love video.

    I remember 10 years ago on the internet (before everyone had a digi camera... or a cell phone with a camera... or even a cell phone that wasn't huge like Zack Morris'), everyone got all excited over photos on the net. Now that's been replaced with videos.
