Oh my... click bank is a freaking beast of a site.

NOW I see why so many people use clickbank... all this time I've been using horrible offers, have felt SO LIMITED using little networks like adscend media/cpabeyond and such. Theres no even comparing them.

My jaw dropped to the floor seeing the sheer amount of products they have.

What also caught my attention is they have products in my niche, energy efficiency. Can I ask, if I have a business that sells energy efficient systems, can I promote that business on clickbank if its local? Or no?

I guess the real question is does clickbank allow contractors to market with their site? Right now our energy audits are free, but our systems sell for around $6,000-$10,000 each. Is there anyway we can incoporate our site into clickbank to have affiliates promote it?

Would I need to make some kinda of informational product instead? Or can I sell a service? The thing I'm trying to figure out is we usually go into homes to sell our service... so I don't think theres anyway I could use clickbank to sell it... or am not thinking outside the box well enough here?

    Actually you could be onto something here.
    With local offline marketing so powerfully popular, there are thousands of "SEO" types.
    We _and I include myself) do mobile marketing, we do Facebook marketing and most also do affiliate marketing.
    Now if your city is big enough, or rather your catchment area is, then you could definitely put your product onto clickbank.
    you biggest problem will be to let potential affiliates know that you are local, and not a digital product for the entire world.
    If it were me, I would contact clickbank, and tell them of your idea, suggest that they start up a local products section - and use yours as an example. They then email all their people that that are connected to and with a bit of luck you will be a trillionaire in a year or two.

    Yes indeed ... there's an overwhelming variety there.

    Which is part of the reason why it always amuses me so much when people make posts saying "Get away from ClickBank - all the products are crap" (seriously, there are a few people who say that - it makes me wonder what tiny fraction of 1% of them they've ever had any experience with!). :p :rolleyes:

    It does, I think ... there are certainly many services for sale on ClickBank.

    But, before allowing you to market anything in your sort of price range, I think they're going to want quite a long history with you (i.e. with you marketing low-priced products).

    And then you have to bear in mind that they're going to work out pretty expensive, as well, at 7.5% before the vendor/affiliate division.

    I'm having great difficulty envisaging how ClickBank would work out for you, I must say. But ask them?

    I suspect that having your own affiliate set-up (even if someone else runs it for you, for a fee) may be both more practical and more viable.

    At the best of my knowledge, CB only offers digital products.

    How much commission could you offer on a free audit? When the minimum commission at CXB is 25% and most items offer upwards of 50% to 75%, physical products can't usually offer such commissions, also I doubt you would get many affiliates to promote your products. And how would you get to deliver and install the products across the USA, let alone around the world.

      You may do better with some other affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, Linkshare, Shareasale, etc. These sell products/services at much higher price points than what Clickbank will allow.

        I will be go to hell, I didn't know that. I should have known better than disagree with You Alexa, on Clickbank. I don't think anyone knows more than you on that company except MAYBE Harvey.

        But still $6K products, I don't think I would go there.
