I too need help with traffic. I tried listing my site URL to Social Monkee but could not afford to upgrade. I do write articles and submit them to Ezines and I was advised to create a YouTube video to link back to my site. What other ways are there to get traffic? I have a Facebook but it's for personal use and I do have a Twitter account but I don't know how to use it and I also have a LinkedIn account but not sure how to use those sites. Traffic won't come over night if you are relying on SEO, it can take months and if you are not careful you may do more harm than good.

I would recommend paid traffic, once you get a good ROI outsource your SEO work to a local company (one with a building)

That way you can ensure in the long run you will get the rank and traffic

You can get traffic from Social Media, Forum, Blog Post, Directories. If you want to get a good amount of traffic bring your site on top of SERP's but that won't happen overnight besides your site is too young. For now just build quality link from quality site! LINKS! LINKS! LINKS!

Give it time, do the correct research on the keywords, areas, sites, links etc etc that you aim to target to push your site up and boost traffic.

Don't fret over 1 week with no traffic for a new site - start building up your Seo and quality link portfolio and within in no time you'll be getting some decent traffic.

Oneothe repoint is to focus on your content at such an early stage - quality content matters!

samuelcooke77, continuously add content. Tiered link building is a great way to boost your search engine rankings.

SEO takes a long time and it's hard to get on the first spot. Social media and forum marketing is a lot quicker. Maybe you should look into them

Its really hard to get good amount of traffic for new sites, especially if you are not making a considerable amount of effort to rank your site. Also good quality content matters the most nowadays, so the other people links naturally...

Directories and forums are also playing important roles to increase traffic for your website. Get links from relevent websites because google gave prefrence such links.
