Considering the huge amount of information on this forum, I suspect people will still flock to it even if sigs are disabled or at least activated only after a certain number of posts.

Signatures aren't taken away for no reason at all. They are normally taken away because:

1. Bumped a bunch of old threads related to the offer in your signature just to get signature exposure.

2. Create a bunch of useless one line posts just to get signature exposure.

3. Refer to your signature in posts so people will notice it and click.

These are a few of the current sig spam techniques.

I wouldn't let you know personally. I'm not a mod. If I see sig spam going on, I report it to mods. But it's not the mods jobs to explain to everyone here who violates rules what they did wrong.

Did you have affiliate links in your signature or an affiliate template site? That's another one. I imagine that you probably know what you did wrong.

You might be seeing 100 of comments/reviews for a WSO, they are not real, they are bought from other members in other forums..

Why didn't you detect it, if you are really honest moderator,, let me know if you need some proof, I can provide you...

I believe there is a way to contact the moderator directly on this forum, no?

My own recommendation would be to take it up with the moderator.

My very first WSO was locked and I was emailed that I had stolen content. Someone had reported me for that. I was mortified, disappointed, etc. But after a couple emails I satisfied the moderator that it was not stolen content and the WSO was reopened.

I'm a bit surprised, if you have posted that many times that you have never either found value in this forum or believed you were providing value to others in this forum.

Like whining here in public will get you anywhere. There was likely a reason they disabled your signature...talk to a mod about it. Likelihood also that you got a PM and know exactly why they disabled it.

Mary,
this is not a public place, it is a house with an owner who kindly opens the door to others to come and gather.

Being a marketing forum, to do marketing - and sometimes overdo it - happens. It can happen to anyone actually.

Trying to keep it civil, so it doesn´t transform in something else, the owner of the place implements rules that change from time to time.

For all of us, guests, the choice is simple. We accept the rules, and all that comes with them. Or we don´t, and leave.

Neither you, I, or other guest, has the right to tell anyone how to manage their house. Would you allow it in your own? I certainly would not.

I think you might want to rethink your opening post if you care about this place. If you cannot suck it up when you are in the wrong side of the rules book, you are a liability for the forum. If you do not leave on your own, they will boot you.

  I'm sick of watching the contributing members get frustrated and annoyed by these people who think they're owed something just for showing up. They come in, pollute the place with pointless one-liners for signature exposure, and then rant when they're held accountable for their abuses.

Why have you paid $10, to join a paid Internet Marketing forum, that has TOS that you may have unintentionally activated by your sig links and then make a thread about it?

your signature has been disabled because you replied to related threads just to show your signature.

Beside of the content creation service you also promoted a forum posting service for link building. Do you believe we tolerate a service to spam other forums? And now you want to tell us that no one would visit this forum if we wouldn't allow signatures? Are you serious?

If you're posting on behalf of other people's offers and those offers are in your signature, you are violating the sig rules, which are clearly laid out in the rules post.

Obeying forum's rules is the important thing when posting and replying in the threads.
They are there to keep the forum tidy and free of spam .

well I have been there when you get ban without knowing but it was my fault and from now on i always obey forum rules.

warrior forum is one of the forum that looks genuine and free of spam to me, as all other forums are flooded with advertisements and spam offers.

Follow the forum rules and you'll be good at your side, that's all i wan to say.

When I was new here, I inadvertently (honest) had my sig files cut off for a while.

I had contravened the rules, although I didn't intend to, and was slapped.

I don't understand what this person did exactly; but it seems she wasn't warned. In my situation, I was informed of what I'd done, which was fairer.

However, I served my time, then had my sig files reinstated.

But I didn't start another thread to whine about it.

Not that my sig files do anything at the mo'. Soon to be fixed (I hope).

She didn't need to be warned. Her avatar says it all. She and probably a bunch of crap accounts post in forums on behalf of other people who pay them. There's probably a ton more of them from the same "company."

She had been warned, multiple times. She had also had at least one previous account banned for this stuff, and hundreds of posts were deleted in this account.

She simply would not accept that what she was doing was destructive.
