Content Scrapers from Russia and Blogspot
I have a couple of issues with content scrapers.
1) Someone stole one of my articles from Eza without resource box and pasted it on his website. Of course the website doesn't have any contact page. On whois their identity is masked and the only available email is contact@privacyprotect.org. When I contact this people they say they can do nothing for me. So I decided to contact the host. And I found out their host is in Russia. It's incredible how unprofessional those russian hosts can be. It's almost funny. They replied to me saying: "ok, we'll do it tomorrow", and then after another email from me: "Oh , sorry, we'll do it tomorrow.." and the like for one week.
Now I sent them a DMCA with the Eza URL as sample of the page they are stealing and I don't know if they are actually going to do something about it.
Since they have ads I also filed a form on google to point them out.
2) Someone else stole the same article from Eza, without resource box. They put a tiny sentence after the article and after the adverts that says: source ezine article: http://ezine/45353whatever
This website is actually a .blogspot.com blog. So I basically need to get in touch with google.
Now, I did found a way to send a notification to google, but I'm a bit scared because google says that I'll need to pay them money if they find out it wasn't real copyright infringment
http://support.google.com/bin/request.py?&product=blogger&contact_type=lr_dmca
and I don't know if their microscopic: source:ezine thing is enough for them to get by.
I really don't know what to do.
Any advice?
Thanks
