Infographic Marketing Campaign(s)

I am interested in hearing from anyone that has run marketing campaigns using infographic(s).

I would love to hear:

1. What design of the infographic did you find had the greatest impact?

2. Where did you post the infographic?

3. How specifically did you promote the infographic? social media, ads, etc

4. What service/product was promoted?

And if possible, would love to see the infographic too.

Please feel free to include any and all other pearls of wisdom.

Thanks

Your list of questions need a whole other list of questions to set the CONTEXT of the infographic campagins people run. Otherwise, we'd all be comparing apples to oranges.

      Thanks writeaway.

My intent is to get the feedback and then I do the work. I didn't think it was fair to expect any one to write detailed and long responses

    Hi,

    We've designed 100's of infographics for my clients in a variety of topics. Answered your questions based on what I know;

    1. an infographic design that's more like a timeline that takes the reader on a journey has a greater impact recently. A comparative inforgraphic too gets good number of views because people get to know the differences between 2 products visually.

    2. to top infographic sites and blog sites too. it's also converted to pdf or presentation documents and shared it in document sharing sites.

    3. infographic is shared through social media profiles (facebook, pinterest, etc) for maximum promotion.

    4. any service/product can be promoted

Posted this on another thread, but it still applies:

I've had two infographic wins recently (both in terms of traffic and links). And I've gotten links for me and my clients from incredible PR7 news sites using them in the past.

It might literally be the best link building strategy on the planet.

For example, here's what I did with my on-page SEO infographic:

    1. Created an evergreen, high-value piece of content. There's no shortcut here: it does have to be good.

    2. Reach out to people that have written on that topic (in my case, people that were ranking for keywords like "on page SEO"). Don't ask for a link...just show them the infographic.

    3. Because it's great (see step #1), they're inclined to share it on social media...which gets eyeballs on it...when then generates links.

You need to hustle....and that's what makes an infographic marketing campaign work.

Hustling is key!! But clearly, the content comes first.

If you're looking a great place that will help you distribute your infographic, try myblogguest.com In addition to guest blog posts, they also distribute infographics.
Don't just jump on the first offer you get though. Make sure the site making an offer is RELEVANT to your niche.

If you want your infographic to get LOTS of offers, make sure it is NOT WORTHLESS.
