I would choose 3. I think that people react more when they see a picture, then they are more likely to get interested and click to go on.

Craigslist has added alot of filters in a short time, I would re read their guidelines they have gotten more strict I cant actually post the way I want to post to get the most leads

1. If you mean using a URL shortner most don't work on Craigslist any more.
They just block them.
2. The second one is what I do. Link to my landing page.
3. Clickable images convert better but tough to constantly get to go live compared to text which is easy. Also images attract attention meaning flaggers and the competition. Usually their one and the same.
4. I don't do the email respond method.

I have always found it to be all about niche and location of post on Craigslist. Certain niches just don't get the clicks.

1. Posts with images will always get more views so you naturally get a lift in clicks.

2. For links, I would recommend getting your own URL shortener script installed on a throwaway domain so that your money site domain is not banned forever by CL. Same approach for phone numbers if used in text form.

I have 3 CL accounts, I post an image of my actual squeeze page, so when people click the form to fill it out, they get taken right to the actual squeeze page...

3 accounts, 9 ads a day, it takes me about 20 minutes and I get 3-15 optins per day, I think its worth it...

The only thing I have found in CL that works is linking to a landing page or being deceptive. I no longer use CL because pretty much I have to be deceptive to get the clicks.

I don't do anything deceptive but my success in getting ads live and intact is definitely sporatic.

The picture method is effective if you can get Craigslist to approve the ad. Personally, I like the email method and collect the email in the process. Then, you can market to them over and over again.

Great question, I've found image ads to get the best CTR but again everything comes down to testing. Run them all and pay attention. One method that works well for me, might not necessarily work well for you. Again its all about testing, testing, testing. Thats the name of the game is to get the best numbers or conversions. Might have to make a slight change to a headline or change an image can change a campaigns performance huge.
