Buzzle's Duplicate Content Rule

You know, I like Buzzle, they bring in good traffic (very close to EZA). However, the Buzzle Duplicate COntent rule really ticks me off.

Here it is (word for word):
----------------

Duplicate Content Not Allowed

At the time of editing a pending article, editors will search the Web to check if article already exists on any other website. If it does, or if it is wholly or partially plagiarized, editors will delete the article submitted on Buzzle.com, and mark the author account for possible termination if duplicate content gets repeatedly submitted from the account.

-------------------

Basically, you can't post YOUR OWN content to YOUR OWN site FIRST, or your at risk of getting your BUZZLE account terminated. I think they're shooting themselves in the foot on this one. I would post TONS more to Buzzle if it weren't for this rule.

Unless it's hidden in EZA editorial guidelines, I don't see this as an issue with EZA, or most other sites. So for all the flack EZA is getting lately, I have to say they're one up on Buzzle in this regard.

yeah. Buzzle would be a great place to post our articles to if not for that lame rule. It sucks to see that they'll remove YOUR articles even if it's on your OWN site. oh well.. :/

I know it's a pain, but honestly, why not take the time out to quickly rewrite the article?

The only reason I say that, is simply due to the fact that in certain niches, I have one to two articles on Buzzle that bring in more traffic than the 20 articles I'd have at EZA in that niche.

And, if you have a high volume of articles you submit often, you could pay someone to rewrite the article. Trust me - Based on what I've seen and the traffic I've generated from Buzzle, it'd be worth it's weight in gold.

Yea Buzzle can be a real pain at times and they only allow you to submit 3 articles at once. That sucks!

However I think it is still worth it!

I recently submitted an article on Buzzle and it is ranked 9th on Google out of 23 million results. That's amazing!

The sad thing is the article is promoting a product that is no longer on clickbank and I don't no where to redirect all that traffic.

    Trippmarxx/Yesacpow - good points.

But I submit in volume - way too much to have to worry about rewritting each article and spoon feed it to Buzzle at 3 pops a day.

Yes, the 3 article limit does suck. So does the sporadic lengthy wait times to approve articles. I've actually waited 2 weeks to get 3 articles approved, yet the next time I submited they were approved within 1 day. Go figure.

Though, I agree, the traffic is good.

EZA would have you BELIEVE that you have to submit to them exclusively (or first) but that's not truly the case. Yes, they will probably decline the article, but if you respond telling them that the "duplicate" content resides on your own site, they will usully publish it, no questons asked.

Buzzle, on the other hand, doesn't care if it's on your site or not.

Think about it for a moment, though. Which are the two "best" article directories out there? Could this be a coincidence? I personally don't think so.
