DONE - Whats a Good Amazon Review Theme?

Hi Everyone,

I'm just starting out with the Amazon Associate Program and I've been looking at a bunch of themes. Some look great others look like they just plain suck. I do know I have to buy a premium theme and I have no problems doing that. I'm just trying to find one that will work with Amazon and other affiliate networks.

I've heard Thesis is a great theme but it looks extremely complicated for someone just starting out but I could be wrong on that.

Anyone have any advice on the themes they use. I'm looking into review themes as I heard the themes that create store fronts don't rank that well in the search engines but again I could be wrong.

Anyone that can give me advice on what theme to use or point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated as I'm looking at working my way up to a few hundred niche sites and possibly selling a few along the way.

Nathan

If you're getting consistent traffic from the same sources, try testing one theme against another. And don't be afraid to use "ugly" or clumsy-looking themes--sometimes the ugly ones can really surprise you when it comes to click-though and sales.

Thanks Brad for the tip. I will try a few different themes as I heard that was the only way to determine what themes work for each niche is to try a few themes in that particular niche. Again thanks.

      Thanks EntrepreneurJay,

I looked at Covert Store Builder and it looks really cool. I'll consider buying this theme. Thanks for your input.

The theme isn't overly important. Keep it simple, you could even start with the default Twenty Fourteen WordPress theme.

Your buyers don't care about the theme, as long as it is not ugly and the information that they want is easy to find. I wouldn't buy a premium theme before the site starts becoming successful. One of my most successful Amazon sites runs on the default theme and it certainly isn't having any problems getting traffic or sales.

One of the worst things you could do is buy some 'review theme', especially if you are going after SEO traffic, talk about a footprint for Google.

There's a nice-looking one in Elegant Themes, but I can't remember it's name for the life of me.

PlanetStarta.com Themes for Amazon are my favorite because they are well-coded and supported. Also, the ThemeStarta Editor allows for complete changes to the themes layout on an individual basis.

Different themes work for different niches. For me fresh and simple themes are working good.
