Membership site for Fitness Coaches

Hi All,
I'm looking for what people regard as the best solution to build a specific type of membership site :
I am familiar with wordpress, but only on using themes/ plugins - not coding
I've been asked to look at building a website for a fitness business with the following specs:

It is for a particular type of fitness style , which will have multiple coaches, around the country, and hopefully the world.

A front end public site -
For general publicity of the concept
A directory of coaches / providers
It could include booking modules for each coach?
Public viewed videos, some downloadable docs etc

Possible ecommerce store to sell equipment
Discussion forum - for participants, pre membership, and a more involved forum for participants who are members.

Ability to sign up as a member, or as a coach

A back end coaches site
A site only accessed by signed up coaches - access to training videos, downloads etc
Discussion forum
Other coach - only options - eg accessing documentation, admin of their own bookings? etc

Does anyone have experience of something similar, in whatever niche, as I'm guessing it is effectively a training type membership site model.

It doesn't have to be wordpress.

estimated numbers of Coaches in the first 2 years is 300
estimated numbers of potential front end users is 12,000

It may need to scale easily, if the concept takes off (hopefully!)

      I have to agree with Cynthia. I use OptimizePress on several of my sites and I'm extremely impressed with it. Excellent theme and excellent service for membership sites!

      Optimizepress may be good for a single site, but his requirement is totally different. He needs separate admin for Coaches so they can upload their own training videos etc. Basically he needs a platform where every coach can have his own mini membership site

        Good call, didn't see this was a requirement.

        A workaround is still available though. As long as everything falls under the same domain name, you can still separate coaches from everyone else. Then assign certain access permissions to coaches and supply them with given OptimizePress packages.
