Hey fellow warriors,

All of us grew up with some of our core beliefs which got shattered due to our unique life-changing experiences.

When someone uncovers some unknown belief changing statements which you never thought can be challenged, a complete new horizon opens up.

I'm excited to read some of your belief changing statements which can help us explore the unknown and shatters some of our core beliefs.

Here are Top 7 that I have:
  • You always act emotionally before you act rationally.
  • Positioning is not what you do to the product; it is what you do to the mind of the prospect.
  • Never sell the feature; sell the result.
  • People pay more for context than for content.
  • Never compete on PRICE alone.
  • Positioning is always in the hands of the seller not the buyer.
  • What you drive is not as important as what drives you.

I can discuss about each one of them in detail in case your belief doesnt match with this one.

Post Yours in Here

      I loved #1 and #3.
I have never thought about #1, but I agree this is very true and very powerful.

Here is one that I wrote myself sometime last year.

"A man that would give up his principles, dies a new death at each revocation. The man of steadfast truth, dies but once".

In a weird kinda way, it makes no sense to deploy someone else's motivational statements.

You gotta generate your own enthusiastic firepower.

                Until then, mebbe plagiarize creatively:

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 100% how you react to 'IF'."

I don't think that it is bad to use someone else's motivational statements. It depends on us which statements impact us the most. Sometimes it can even be a kid who could teach us a big life lesson

It truly captures the essence of winning. One more version I heard is "There is nothing called pure luck, it is your hard work that attracts luck"

All are quotes from Bruce Lee:

"To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities."

"If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done."

"As you think, so shall you become."

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them."

"Defeat is a state of mind; no one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality."

    ^^

    Cheers!

The first one seems to be the most likely belief changing statement. One that is hard to adapt with. Knowing your whole life you should listen to your parents but when should you stop?

I think we need to step back and think of where we want to be. If your parents aren't successful then unfortunately they are NOT the best people to receive advice from when trying to be successful yourself.

there is no average there is no top ..

there is the life you want ..and the life you are not happy with ..

the guy on top ..owns a 500 million dollar private jet.. and a 100 million dollar yacht ..and a palace with like 200 rooms ..that needs rescue parties to find people who get lost inside ..

while there are like a billion people who live on 1 dollar or less a day ..and the world wide middle class runs from 10 dollars to 30 dollars a day ..

wealthy people make their money from the global economy.. 99 percent of the rest are limited to local economies ..

averages only work when there is a cieling to numbers ..when someone can earn 1 dollar a day ..and someone else can earn a million dollars in a day .. the average you use .. is those people around you .. you friends and co workers .. or other people doing the thing you do ..

you want a statement that alters belief ..

there is no average only expectation ..

if you made 40 thousand a year from a job ..you worry about averages in the place you work ..

if you earn 40 thousand from a business you could do from many places in the world.. your exoectations of how you can live off that money change ..

I don't think so. There is no ceiling to anyone's height or weight, but still the law of averages work. However, you are right in terms of our expectations based on where / what / how you work and that's where my belief is don't think about average, rather think about the top

Belief-changing statements? You mean like creeds or mottos that took the place of older, negative world views? I have a few:

    1. Ideas change lives. Our world is the result of ideas: ours, and everyone else's.

    2. If you want to do something, you can always learn how. Many people fail in life simply because they haven't learned what they need to succeed.

    3. "I am AWESOME!" (My personal affirmation for a quick confidence, productivity, and motivation boost. It's much better than the old "I'm just an average dude" type of thinking.)

The third one is very strong. It is very important to tell yourself that you are very lucky. Force it to remember the good things that happened to you. This will change your life
