How often do you say things like:

"I can't afford it"
"I don't have the money"

These words are words that millionaires never say. So start talking like them!

I learned this from a millionaire and discovered how much of a difference it makes. He said, "Your word is your law!" What you say becomes a reality for you because your words shape your experience.

Now you may be thinking, "Well if I had the money I wouldn't say that anymore". This way of thinking is an indication that you are a victim to money. It comes from a place of lack. You are saying that money is keeping you stuck!

You are saying money is your boss and you are a slave to it. If you look at successful entrepreneurs, they don't entertain such thoughts, EVER!

So if they lost all their money and were in your situation, what would they do? They would say things like this:

"I'm coming up with the money".
"I'm finding a way"
"I can get through this"
"There is a solution and I'm going to do what it takes to get over it!"

Here's a great metaphor for your situation if you think you're stuck:

Can you connect the dots using 4 lines while keeping all the lines touching (i.e. without lift the pen)?

The fact is there IS a solution. In fact, it can even be done with 3 lines which is a bit trickier.

Why do I share this? Because as long as you keep saying such negative things like "I can't afford" you are conditioning your mind to not see the solutions!

So change your words and start thinking like a real entrepreneur! Hence the importance of thinking outside the box (which is also a hint to that little puzzle).

So what if all of your money problems are just puzzles in which you must think outside the box? And what if changing your words changes your perception of reality and therefore the quality of your life?

Believe it or not, just changing my words made a HUGE difference for me.

Successful entrepreneurs are SOLUTION oriented! They do not focus on problems like unsuccessful people. They focus on solutions in spite of their problems!

And so their words reflect that and reinforce that!

And when you do this, you are coming from a place of power. It is a way of saying you are no longer a victim to money. Instead, money becomes a servant but it needs you to be solution oriented like a successful entrepreneur! So start talking like them!

    OK, Jason --

I think "outside the box" enough (and no, that DOESN'T mean "Google the answer"!) to see how to connect the dots with 4 lines. But 3? Hmmm. In THIS reality or an alternate one? Oh, is THIS what they mean by "string theory"...?

      LOL

      So easy, isn't it?

It's kinda like trying to figure out magic tricks! Once you see the solution, it looks so obvious doesn't it? =)

This is a great idea. I actually saw something similar to this on facebook where you do not say the negative but instead focus on more of a positive way to say it. I agree that it helps. And greatly I must say. I think that when you can stay away from negatives like can't and won't you do much better.

Yea, words are really powerful in that they direct our focus. And the more you focus on something, the more of it you will get!

For example, if someone says, "I can't lose weight", he is really saying, "I am not committed to doing what it takes to lose weight"

Also the funny thing about that little exercise is that I never said you can't go outside the box

It's just assumed based on the way we were conditioned. The key is to recondition the mind to do your bidding!

Yeah, I remember Joe Vitale once said to change "I have to" to "I get to",
and also to change "This happened to me" or something similar to "I created it"
(to be responsible, instead of acting like a victim).

I was wondering that developing a positive attitude might not change the reality. For instance, if someone does not have money, developing a positive attitude is not going to produce wealth for them. It is just going to make them capable enough to develop ideas to improve their situation. No money generally means NO MONEY!. Am I thinking outside the box?
