Are You Tired of Crappy Products and IM Bull?
95% of it is bulls**t.
I received an email today about some grandma who discovered a quick way to make cash. It seems she made her first dollar online with this. Yet, she has an awesome sales page, good copy, uses JV zoo and seems to be doing stuff only someone experienced could. So??? I'm just as baffled.
All too often we buy products expecting them to be our way out. A key to the lifestyle by the beach with your laptop. Well, guess what? I tried that too... Not because I make millions. I just happen to live on a tropical island and can get to the beach in an hour.
So, I lugged my laptop to the beach. Found a coconut tree to lean against and propped open the laptop. The first problem I had was the glare from the sunny sky. Then the sand became a pain in the ass... Both literal and metaphorically. The fine sand got between the spaces of my keyboard. Then I couldn't get any Internet reception. Finally, I said to hell with it and decided to go for a swim but couldn't. What if someone swiped my laptop while I frolicked in the sea? I would have lost over a 1000 dollars without any PPC... I could have spent it on a useless coaching course priced at $1,997.
Note to self - laptops don't belong at the beach.
The fact of the matter is that success online comes from hours at the computer testing and trying one method till it works for you. If you're doing video marketing, stick with it till it works. Ignore the kindle creation products, Facebook marketing, product creation, etc. Just spend all your time on one method and only one method till it makes you money. When it does, then start something else.
Don't be desperate to slap your boss, quit your job, or believe the half baked stories about how some homeless guy who foraged for half eaten burgers in garbage bins suddenly struck it rich by discovering a way to slap Google back. He would slap his boss too but he had no job to begin with.
It is a struggle but being desperate does not help. Take your time. Work your craft and you will succeed. You have to.
That's all folks.
In a moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing. ~ Theodore Roosevelt
