A sad day.

    Someone on Twitter said earlier on in the day that all those who pissed Wes off during his life should be really scared now that he's dead, which is a fitting tribute to his work(s).

    RIP Wes, you're work will live on forever, by itself and via all the other film makers you inspired.

      I like that. And I'm sure he would, too. He got a kick out of the creativity he inspired in others, right from the start of his career in fact, teaching English at Westminster College and later on Humanities at Clarkson University, where, if I remember correctly, he first began making movies as part of a student project. He inspired a lot of people, myself included, not that that means a great deal in my own case, and truly shaped the world, made it quite a bit better. He'll be missed. A sad day for a horror fan, and sadder still for his family and friends. Wherever he is now, I hope that great mind of his lives on.
