Hi, i was just wondering how many of you use crypto currencies for making money online, as there are currently about 1000 different currencies and can be overwhelming, i currently use bitcoin and doing quiet well from that but would like to diversify into other markets....if anyone has any info on the best currencies at the moment or sources of information that would be great.

Thanks,
Adam

There is two ways to make money in cryptos, but these two ways have own rules and you could easily lose money instead of earning.

First way is to invest long term. You could invest in many coins, but you don't know if the coin will survive and price will increase without researching the coin. Personally I am not investing in other coins except bitcoin and ethereum, as these are very strong and have very big potential of growing. Other coins also can rise even 10 or more times, but it's hard to predict such things and you easily could lose money. So my suggestion is if you want to just invest long term and just wait, invest in strong coins like bitcoin, ethereum.

Second way to make money in cryptos is trading. Trading BTC, USD, USDT, ETH pairs. This way isn't top secret which will make you millions overnight. 95% of people who trading is loosing money, only 5% really makes profitable trades, so keep in mind that it's not easy and you need proper mindset and knowledge, but hey you could learn everything and from more and more experience become super trader.

Personally I like trading a lot and I started this 'business' few months ago ,actually it was 3-4 months ago. I found really good and excellent info about trading and my mindset was already right, also I am very patient person, as every trader knows that patient in trading is super important, so from like 70 traders which i have done only 2 wasnt profitable because of some stupid mistakes which i done while learning, all the rest was positive with 5-10% ROI from each trade.

So if you ask me what I suggest to do if you want to start earning money in cryptos, I would answer that trading is best bet, but each person are different and some like trading ,some dont like, some want just invest and wait ,some wants action and trade each day, all depends on your personality, but I swear everything is possible and you could learn absolutely everything and reach your dreams !

    I'm enjoying the Ripple ride.

    Following this - https://www.reddit.com/r/Ripple/

It's a coin with utility that solves a problem - "The next Swift".

Over the last few weeks has surged while most crypto has fallen. Expected to be listed on Coinbase in coming weeks which will again see it surge up, like Bitcoin Cash did when it listed.

Be careful with both those, Xrp and Bcash, research them both. Xrp is owned by Ripple, a company that you investors have created some of the richest people in the world. Buying into this centralized anti Bitcoin garbage will eventually wreck a lot of investors imo

I was talking about post # 6 not yours. The poster stated he has heard xyz is because a friend purchased xyz. Not sound advice for others to jump on it without doing their own research into it. Ripple has a better chance to go mainstream over Bitcoin. Has no miners and they process transactions faster than Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The best time to get into Crypto is when it baselines, (which should be this year).

Sure, that there are no guarantee's that it will rise again, but if it does, then you could become very wealthy in 5 to 10 years.

Since you put it in writing. Lets see when it baselines this year. It could fail but their is strong evidence it won't. Don't be surprise to see some wild fluctuations. That will break many of the people who are heavily in debted to it. We can laugh at them ! They purchased something on pure speculation and are way in over their heads !

No, that isn't really a prediction, just an educated guess based on present trends, and Advisors on the news.

All charts show that it is going down more than up, and if it could plummet from 19k to 6, then when it gets low enough to the line, and falls again, then it is possible.

Not sure if you can buy stocks that are zero or less than zero in value, but when it goes back up to $1 a share l will consider it.

They are no longer sold at after they hit Zero, they will be removed from the exchanges and I would guess to say they would be bankrupt. Now you maybe get a good deal on Netflex in the future.

In all likelihood they're going to be removed from the exchange long before they hit zero.

I use none, as any type of crypto currency like Bitcoin, is only a web currency! Not recognized as official currency in any land or any bank and there are more minus points as good. I feel sorry for those who have invested their time and money in a fake currency. The dream of a bitcoin being worth any thing is part of a fantasy that started in 2009.

I could also offer you a bitcoin alternative, just put it on a table with a spinning ball, and you could double your money immediately, and no cash out issues.

Why do l feel that l am in a 1929, "Create Wealth Through Investing" meeting?

I have looked into Bitcoin, but it trades at 8k+, (which is about 11k+ in AU dollars) or $1,100+ with leverage.

So l am risking 10k of other peoples money on something that could nosedive again.

About the only plusses are it is always trading, has worthwhile bull and bear trading periods, (hills, valleys) and mass media are crapping on about it.

There are plenty of stocks out there, from reputable, stable companys, that most likely won't plunge, like Bitcoin has been known to do, and can do just as well.

I guess it is because it is always trading, and is trendy is what gets people in, but it will be a long time before l went anywhere near that one,....if ever.

You're right, that CNBC isn't news, it's lame hype for the views.

Bitcoin was up +1,500% for the past year then drops -70%. Ouch (meh). Not even a blip on the exchanges.

          Lol, who holds Bitcoin?

Oh, shit, the stock market is going to hell. We're all gonna die?!!

Stocks went into free fall on Monday, and the Dow plunged almost 1,600 points -- easily the biggest point decline in history during a trading day.

People are earning because of crypto but the same is the case with frauds as well. People are losing their money because of that. Thats why ICOs are now partnering with ID verification companies like Shufti Pro to perform KYC of their investors so that chances of frauds are reduced.

The only way people are losing money in crypto are:

      1. buying into some bullshit coin or ICO that is promised to give instant riches, which is dumb investing move

      2. trading and thinking they know what they're doing, wannabe instant pro traders, which also is dumb investing move

my advice is to research Bitcoin and what it is, and does, before investing. This should increase your capital but will not be over night.

another advice, do not buy into "what's hot". Do not FOMO like those buying the hype at $20k

There are scams and more scams.

A good number of AU companies who do CFD's, (leveraged instruments) crypto's included, use a large range of dirty tricks, to keep members out of pocket.

I researched the best ones, and found a long line of grievances against them, and the ones who don't do CFD, usually having little to no complaints.

Obviously the ones who don't mean you have to cough up a lot more to reach the same level's, but at least you can pull your money out, without delay tactics and other nonsense, that online casino's tend to use.

The thing about CFD's is the company has to give you their money when you make more than your initial payment, hence the nonsense.

I thought that CFD's were a G**send two months ago, but now, more of a curse, (although some are probably legit).

If you find a crypto or general trading company online, best to type in "honest review" into Google first.

A very popular trading platform in the US is called Robinhood, because it does CFD's, and has no direct trading fee's.

Although it also has some negative comments, but is probably the best CFD platform all up.

Not available in AU, at least until it is cleared by the relevant authority.

I guess it all depends on how you look at it... Yea.... If you are being reckless and not doing research you can lose a ton. At the same time you can lose money in any industry, it's all about your approach, knowledge and action steps you take.

The most important question is the choice between bitcoin and ethereum. Both currencies have their strong side. At the moment I'm using bitcoin. I think that the crypto currency will soon change the whole world. Forward to the future.

      and, for the 'marketplace':
      https://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...july-30th.html

Those should help....basically, you can't post promotions/adverts in the discussion areas or links such as to your site or 'contact me' etc.

      P.S. Welcome to the forum!

        Hey Kay

so I saw these two rules:

Shameless self promotion such as 'see my sig' or 'pm me for more details' is prohibited.
In line links are allowed and even encouraged as long as they are not selling anything and expand specifically on the concept being discussed. Marketplace listings are of course exempt from this rule.

so my first was deleted because one I gave a link to an opportunity I am doing which I believe is the best one out there for people into crypto and second I asked outside of the forum for people to chat with me on this subject --

what about offering a free class?

and it appears to have a sig is an extra payment but if you pay for it then you can post whatever links you wish in your sig

will try another approach to join this discussion and see if that message is acccepted - want to be a good warrior here -- as my goal is helping others

so Kay are you doing something with crypto and is this why you are here?

have a great day!! - Joshua

Sig is just $5 for all time You can post what you want as long as it is not an affiliate link....or a fiverr ad... If it's your site - your program or product - you can post two lines with links about it for $5.

Or if you want a big splash you can choose the high end option and post any links you want and an image of your choice.

Honestly, the problem you may face on this forum is that crypto discussions are limited to the Off Topic section only - and you seem to be more knowledgeable about the topic than many who post about it here. Perhaps your knowledge will raise the bar....and your sig would show when you post in other sections, too.

thanks Kay - thanks for sharing about the sig, I have a job coming this weekend that it sounds like the $5 to do this is worth it - my idea is, even though most people, the warriors focus on on-line or internet marketing, this is the skill needed to succeed with crypto currency -- it is more then just understand how to buy crypto - which I have been through but to also find the right way to build it

plus as I stated to another member, in my comment not deleted - it is my strong belief there is going to come a day where all of the marketers here will have to be open to accept people to use crypto especially bitcoin to buy the products and services they sell - I already have setup on my website the ability for people to use these currencies for my books

also is it not permitted to give out an email address? as right now till I have 5 good posts - I am unable to speak to any other members directly

my goal has always been since i started with crypto to work with others for our mutual success - some big stuff is coming up around it before the end of the year -- I am even going to do public classes where I live next month -

anyway I appreciate your help here - so what is your thing you are doing on-line that has brought you the most success

and what is a big splash???

thanks for your kindness Kay as you guide me into this new world :-)

A 'big splash' would be the $60 sig option which allowed you to promote your products in a bigger ad using an image that gets more attention, etc.

No, you can't post email address (perhaps in your sig but the spam factor might not be worth it)...you also can't (once you reach the post limit) promote your products through unsolicited PM's to other members.

It's a forum - discussions are meant to take place on the forum where others can see and learn from them.

The challenge I see for you is to be able to participate in other sections of the forum (with your sig visible) in discussions that are not crypto based as those discussions are limited to the OT. Until about a year ago - no crypto discussion was allowed here so it has opened to some extent.

As for me - I'm pretty much retired from working. Built a lot of sites - ran memberships and was a well paid freelance writer for years. Now I moderate here for a bit every day, walk my dog, ride horses, read lots of books, take naps. Rough life but someone has to do it. Have a son in Atlanta - that's a fertile location for crypto products/advice I would think.

ah I see you are a moderator - would it be a good idea to send an invitation to your son in Atlanta when I do the free bitcoin presentations here I plan?

apparently people are opening up to crypto - it won't be very much longer I truly believe for people to ignore it especially when one day you will walk into a store and if you don't have an app on your phone to transfer your bitcoins from your digital wallet to the stores (and these apps already exist) you won't be able to buy anything ...

where do I see within my account how many messages I have posted till I can talk live to members outside of the forum -- the other key I am seeking is if anyone has come up with a reliable and easy way to use on-line marketing to reach new people - one person I just spoke to on linked in wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to get 100,000 people on twitter which is a bit much ...

again Kay appreciate your help and giving me practice in the forum - hope one day when my bitcoins are worth over a million dollars each (which is not as impossible as it sounds) I will have my own horses to ride - did my serious ride in the Andes Mountains of Peru and any time I can do a ride (not good at galloping yet) I do ...

well lets see if anyone else might comment about their experiences with crypto - it paid for six months of our bills till the early part of this year so I did get a big taste what is possible.

if you are into the paranormal Kay, I have a few interesting books we self published ... too - have a great day - Joshua

Sure some have made good money with them and others haven't, but using volatile currency to pay for a service,....bad idea at best.

A million dollars each, lol lucky if it gets to $13,000 each!

Currently at roughly $6,500 down from $8,500, and probably ascending.

It may have bottomed, but the chart evidence is thin.

tagiscom - thanks for responding - of course it has gone down recently as you said but there are other developments going on behind the scenes which the public doesn't know - we of course can share our perspectives and have a different way to approach it -- what I feel is the key for the next few months is to hold and build -- last year we saw in the summer bitcoins around $4,000 - $6000 and then in the fall and early winter jumped up to almost $20,000

I will always be an optimist and follow my intuition - so what will probably happen for you - is you will stay cautious by when the next jump starts happening - you will know this guy Joshua was on the forum trying to help -- yes it is volatile but I think its jumping for other reasons then you think and getting ready to move up to the next level -

all the best and appreciate your feedback - bitcoin will always be a hot topic for sure - have a great day

Yes, it has gone, (just checked) from roughly $5,888 to about $6,300 recently, or appears to be as low as it may go, but as l said previously it is still too early to tell if it has really reached it lowest lows and is going up.

And sure it has gone up, but has also gone from $21,000 to $6,300 or almost a 75% drop.

And sure l believe that it will go up, before it goes down to oblivion, but not by much.

A major retail chain is preparing to accept a certain cryptocurrency in over 5,000 of their locations. This retail chain has over 60,000 locations worldwide.

This same crypto has been called 'brilliant' by a 40+ year industry veteran of a valuable asset class.

I'm unable to divulge specifics, for obvious reasons, but, you'll find out all the rest later.

Several trains have already left the station. You're still having your burger and playing with your smartphone, probably playing video games, in the restaurant.

Hard Fork 20 has been announced with Steem. And even more exciting is that SMTs ( Smart Media Tokens) are to be released in January 2019.

I have been observing at what some of the people here at Warrior Forum and on this very Thread have been spewing , and I can't help but shake my head about the ignorance they are exhibiting. And I just cannot help but giggle to myself about these same people talking about drinking the proverbial "kool aid" when in actuality they are the ones drinking the "kool aid" by buying into the notion that this Crypto industry is all about wild speculation on price alone and nothing else. That is drinking the "kool aid" because it is unequivocally FALSE !!

Yes, there are plenty of lame ass speculators with Bitcoin and other Crytocurrency.

There is no doubt about that. A bunch of bull shit pumping and dumping and major hype

But if you have done your "homework" and you wade through all this bullshit speculating, you will find incredible technology with crypto with what they called Blochchain technology. And it is going to change the way Commerce is done and is based on a decentralized platform.

These SMTs are the next step in this Revolution.

I got $10K invested in Steem but not through stupid Speculation of the price going up or down.

I'm investing in the technology and how it is going to be a game changer.

Bottom line : Do your homework and quit drinking the "kool aid" that this is solely based on hype and reckless speculation !! That is just incorrect

      Sincerely,
      Robert

P.S. I have no ulterior motives with my Post. I do NOT gain some kind of silly affiliate commission if people respond to me and buy something from me.

      Just wanted to disclose that.

Iam mainly just wanting to get the word out on the technology involved here and how there "could" be limitless opportunity if you are smart about it !

I also have an investment in STEEM, not by spending my fiat on it but by investing my time and content creation talent which mines STEEM when I post and receive rewards.

you can go through exchanges like bittrex, purchase BTC and then STEEM

Yep been on Steem for over a year not a big poster but saw your response to @sircork last week. A lot of good with steemit, one guy uses steem donations to help feed children in Bangladash and promotes a school for woman.

Anther member is big in Brooklyn NY with steempark, and his latest art exhibition in the city. Same person is promoting @phillyhistory via a college class that dontated money from steem to go to a worthy donation at the end of last semester.

The person Adam who started this conversation -- asked about what coins are best to consider if you are in crypto although I saw here in this discussion, people who are anti-crypto too and this is to be expected - anytime there is a new tech offered there will be nay-sayers until it becomes an accepted tech by the world at large like our cell (mobile) phones, the internet, wifi, etc ---

I saw a person I greatly respect, Teeka is his name do a talk on July 18th and he is a person who has a newsletter where the paid members get his tips and advise -- anyway as with all things, we each have to make our own decision whether we buy what someone is saying or not but having been involved with crypto since April 2017, I have seen a lot --

he suggested to pay attention to bitcoin, litecoin and dash - most people don't know about dash -- but it has, if you understanding how mining and creation of the coins work - a built in program, forget the name of this, that helps with the transactions of the coin and thus transactions go faster -- many people have also spoken about eth or ethereum which really is more a coin that represents a blockchain more advanced, they say, then with bitcoin ...

the other encouraging thing I see if how many websites are devoted to cryptocurrencies plus people I see involved via facebook and linkedin -- and that the US tax office, as I mentioned in my post deleted due to newbie ignorance, has a new tax law as Uncle Sam wants their share of crypto calling it virtual currency.

What could throw things into total favor for crypto is Amazon not if but when they decide to either allow purchases of their product with their own coin or one that exists - they maybe waiting for an upgrade to the blockchain for bitcoin which is rumored to be ready soon

to those in this forum who as they say, stay the course and trust, as the year of 2018 becomes the settling down process with crypto - where no doubt many 10 coins will remain strong - I believe you will be rewarded - anyway it has been an interest adventure since last year and I hope at some point to write a book about it

hope this information is helpful and that I have finally followed the posting rules --

    Joshua
