Could you share tips on best desk setup for productivity

Also sometimes I have to work from home and there is not enough sunlight coming from outside as the sun is on the other side ....

It is really difficult to work in a room with very little sunlight with the screen i am using now...is there any specific screen i can use for when i have to work in a room with little sunlight coming from outside....

I can read without a problem on the tablet...but with the computer screen is very difficult....artificial light is not helping...

light is light - sunlight is great but it's not always reliable or accessible.

If you have a good lamp you should be fine....I have a rather old fashioned one I bought not long ago with 3 bulbs so I can adjust the lighting in the room by turning on 1, 2 or all three lights.

I've always found light fixtures/lamps gave better light to work on the 'screens' than sunlight.

I agree with Kay - unless you can position your screen so that the sunlight is coming from behind it, there'll likely be reflection problems. I prefer to draw the blinds - or wait until sunset. We don't get enough sunshine here that I can afford to waste it by staying indoors.

Is working at night an option for you? Or maybe moving your set-up to another room in the property? If not, I'd suggest you invest in some good artificial lighting. The best aid to creativity is a comfortable environment.

You could always get a Table lamp with a clamp. They go on your desk and shine a light above your screen. Depending on your price range there are several different modules. Some have LED Lights with 2 settings.

    Here's one that takes you to a page on Amazon that shows one style of desk lamp. (Non-Affiliate Links}

Here is a different style altogether - https://www.amazon.com/Brightestwith...0-4513d670b6bc

And the description - V-LIGHT Full Spectrum Natural Daylight Effect Desk Lamp with Adjustable Gooseneck Arm (VS80907B),Black

    About this item
Bright 27W full spectrum lighting provides vivid and glare-free natural daylight effect
23 inches tall with adjustable gooseneck arm
On/off switch conveniently located on arm
Unique pattern design with high gloss finish
    27W full spectrum bulb included

    For other styles - https://www.amazon.com/Fluorescent-D...cent+Desk+Lamp

Also just keep your desk free of clutter. For example a pen and paper holder setup only. Nothing else unless you have a lot of room. If you do have enough room the printer to sit on the desktop. Keep it within arm's reach so you don't have to get up out of the chair to use it.

    Hope that helps

I just plonk my Laptop on a table with a tall halogen lamp to one side making sure it doesn't shine off the screen or l can directly see the light, which is pretty bright.

You may be referring to websites, etc with white backgrounds, that give you mild snow blindness?

Which are hard to read after a while, if so install the FireFox browser and then install the Owl app, which is free and works great for reversing white backgrounds to dark ones, (easier on the eyes).
