What will you do with your money?

One of the e-mail lists I'm on is in regard to economics. As stated in other posts, we are at the weakest point in our economy since the Great Depression, and we're not done free-falling. What are your plans to protect your money?

      Ride it out. If you are in 401ks or in the stock market hold on. The economy will bounce back, it could take as long as another 2 years or so to fully recover. The worst thing you can right now do is sell. If you can, protect your cash by buying good company stocks which are now at historic lows.

      My great-grand parents lived through the great depression. This is not even close to being that bad. People are having tough times to be sure, and losing homes and jobs; really suffering. But, I am sorry to say we have had it very easy for a good generation or two, and many have never known hardship well enough to adapt and become resilient. Hardship can either grind you down, or polish you up for a brilliant future of opportunities.

        I have no money to protect. I live day by day. This is not something I have to worry about.

        When money comes to hand, I spend it on plane tickets and I go for rides up in the air. The Sky is my Home. That's where I like it best.

        Great Depression or not it will be the same for me... and oh... maybe I will get cheaper plane tickets!
