Boy,does that bring back some memories.
I saw Vanilla Fudge open for Chicago in Chicago in the late 60s. ( I was very young).
Vanilla Fudge was considered very "heavy" and Chicago,which as the cover shows,was called The Chicago Transit Authority at the time, actually bordered on psychedelic.

Must admit I had never heard the song or the band before,but listening to it made me keep thinking it was oddly familiar.

Lake had 2 LPs that I am aware of. They're another band that faded from
obscurity to oblivion. I don't even know if you can get their stuff on CD. I'm just
so glad I kept the LPs.

Their other song that you might have heard was this one.

Jesus came down - YouTube

Both songs got some airplay but not much. They were both gone from the
air waves within a week or two after release.
