Phone Sales Script for Coaching Program

I'm looking to sell some email marketing coaching programs in the near future. Pricing will be $7500 and up.

What's the best way to put together a sales script for such?

I haven't sold anything over the phone in 20 years.

Are there any proven outlines to work off of or actual scripts that I could get a hold of and tweak?

    ??? Wouldn't it be better to offer this via email since that is what you are good at doing?

    With a $7500 price tag maybe you should invest in a professional script if you do decide telemarketing is the way to go??

        You should hire someone to write it from the ground up. I can't imagine that you are going o get someone to outline a complete script here, for free. It's major work, creating a script.

        I was thinking I'd field the 'B' team until we hit the top of the league...then bring out the 'A' team.

        A bit chancy that strategy don't you think.

        If you really believe you'll be selling a big ticket product then you'll need a big ticket script and someone capable of producing that won't be cheap.

        Search on here as there a number of top people who have generously published their scripts which you may be able to adapt.

          I'm not that worried about it. It's been 20 years and I'm sure I'm a bit rusty, but back then I developed my own script and consistently closed high dollar deals. Everything was warm leads for a make money offer, so it's going to be very very similar...it's not like I will be cold calling, I'll generate my own leads and they will know what the deal is already. We are only talking $7500, as very few will qualify for the more expensive advance training. I've been doing what I will be coaching for 15 years and have generated an insane amount of money doing it, so I just don't feel like I need to have some write a script for me at this time.

    Who sells programs similar to what you plan to offer?

    Sign up for their trial, or opt-in for more information. Wait for them to call and listen carefully to how they pitch their programs. It should give you a guideline to start with. (MOBE is one that pops into my mind.)

    You could use that information to create an outline, or rough draft, to turn over to a pro for creating your script.

      Great idea.

      I've done that a couple of times...just go through the funnel. Play prospect. Keep copies of the e-mails, record the "strategy session", Take notes on any video they show.

      If you do that a couple of times, you'll get a real feel for what you need to include in your funnel.

    This place amazes me all the time. There is a vast amount of info on the internet, scoping out other similar programs ("market research", "due diligence") should be a first step.

    Actually no one could write a "script' without doing their own research on what you plan to offer...and yeah no one is going to come on this board and do it for free. IF they do they will do so with the motive of "upselling you"...expect some PM's LOL

    The few times I ever posted a question here I did get some "offers" in PM LOL

      I was just wondering if there was an outline that I could go off of to create one. You see outlines for sales letters all the time, so I was wondering if such existed for a script.

      I'm looking at doing 2 programs. One will be like $7500 and the other probably around $25K. I will use the internet to pre-sell and generate leads.. But the closing I figured could be done at a higher conversion rate over the phone.

    Wow....if you have enough knowledge to sell a course for those figures then you should either know this stuff yourself or have the backing to hire true professionals.

    I guess if you write a script we could give our opinions ?

    I have done some work "on contract" with Ogilvy Experiential, maybe you could go with them or with some division of their services (they were/started as Ogilvy Mathers)....or hire a telemarkeing firm.

    In the meanwhile, if anyone here needs work on email programs, I guess you will help us with that for free right?

      Well, to be more specific, the training is about CPA lead generation using email to promote. The $7500 course will be beginner level and the $25K will be an advanced level.

      The way I do things is unique, as I use real time co-reg and data buying to build large cost effective mailing lists. With lead generation there is nothing to sell (no credit card required) you just need to get people to fill out a form, so typically the conversion rates are much higher. You combine the two and it's a money maker.

      This is what I have been doing for 15 years and it just works and the income potential for anyone is huge. Back in the early days I thought about doing this and I wouldn't even consider it for less than $100K. Now that I'm older, money really is as important to me anymore. Not that money isn't important, I'm just not the greedy SOB I use to be.

      The beginner course lays the foundation to move to the advance course. Which I will probably discount the cost of the beginner course off the advanced. There's some software that everyone in the advanced course is going to ideally want. Which is all in-house custom built that I have developed over the years. One of the programs is very underground and there is no way to even get your hands on such, unless you have it custom made. So this will provide me with monthly residual income.

      I don't know of any training that exists that is like it anywhere. So I see no reason to hire a professional to create a script, as I don't think it will be that hard of a sale for someone who has the money and is serious about making money. At some point I will probably take it to a professional to see how it could be improved.

      Plus, everything is in the planning stages. No courses exist yet, except in my head and who knows, I may just end up shelving the whole idea.

    Shall I ask you how to build a list, do co-regs etc for free? Would you share that..or charge $25k?

    I can't imagine anyone paying $7500 to $25k to learn how to build a list for cpa
    Co-regs? I think people who want to do that can hire a programmer for far less and the affiliate networks will help them with the co-reg. Either way they need the site traffic and the email list.
    They could build a good cpa /IM biz for less than the cost of your courses to be realistic.

    nor can I imagine any scenario where people would sit and cold call for you unless you pay them by the hour cause I doubt they will close many deals
    Even with a good script it is going to be a hard sell.

    There are tons of wso's on that very subject in the range of $5- $100 ....spending $25k? Oh my

    well....I also have years of telemarket experience and so do others. I just doubt anyone is going to do research and write scripts for free.

    If you have a 25k product you should know how to present it or have the money to pay for professional help.


    Due Diligence would be going to similar ? sites and following their so called "funnel"....wait for their telemarketer to call for the big close and take notes?

    I am not looking for someone to write a script for me (I have said that over and over), so why do you keep saying that?

    Also, you have no clue at all, what exactly my training is all about and clearly you have no experience with it either, because you made statements that make no sense.

    Just to clarify, the training isn't solely about list building, that's just a small part of it. It's taking someone from A-Z and showing them how to make money using the techniques that I have been for up to 15 years and giving them the potential to realistically earn 6-7 figures. Trust me, there is no WSO that is going to do that and for that matter, there isn't even a course or training that exists that teaches what I do...that I have ever seen!

    Big guys create the scripts in a way that help them find out if the prospect does have enough money because otherwise you are just wasting the time with the wrong guy!
