Anybody Outsourcing Social Media Posting?

I run a social media marketing agency. I know that I need to scale up and grow the business without doing more work myself. To do that, I need to find some good people to outsource the work to. Work such as posting to Facebook and Instagram accounts, liking, commenting, sharing, etc. Preferably, I don't want to hire full time employees to do this. At least in the beginning, I am thinking of hiring freelancers.

Something that is bothering me is how to outsource this kind of work to people who are not full time employees working in my office, and trust them with the login details of my clients' social media accounts? Does anybody else outsource this kind of work? How do you manage your team and the security of your accounts? What stops them from changing passwords or sharing passwords?

I recognize there is a way of making someone an administrator of your Facebook page with limited authority, such as not being able to change passwords etc. But to my knowledge, Instagram doesn't have a feature like this. Or am I wrong?

Bonus question for bonus points and thanks:

Where do you guys find reliable freelancers for social media posting?

It might depend on what you want to invest and how long term you want the relationships to be.

There are agencies that can get you quality employees in places like the Phillipines where you can get dedicated people to work solely on your work.

Another alternative I've suggested here on the forum previously involves finding a specific type of local help.

At that time we discussed finding someone to perform various marketing and support tasks and I suggested using "Stay at Home Mums"

Many females have incredible skills that match what you require.

Some of those will have children which takes them out of the general workforce and forces them into a position where they want to use their skills but work in the times they have available.

Typically in Australia this is between 9am and 2pm.

What can appeal to these type of employees is the ability to work from home.

You can easily interview a few people and give them a trial.

If you use someone local you will generally get a bit more loyalty and you are adding value to your local community.

Often these types of employees can refer other additional employees who are just like them so when they reach a point where they might want "full employment" they have already got you someone who fits in and replaces their roles.

Because you can offer flexible hours, work from home, time off when kids are sick etc you will get someone who appreciates you and in return delivers more than you pay for.

You can always test a few people and give them a few tasks each and pay for what they deliver.

This can be better than outsourcing but both methods have their place in modern business.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

      Totally agree with this.
Stay at home housewives (and the odd occasional house husband) have been my secret weapon for 40 odd years.
Might be an Ozzy thing because that's where I started doing this, but people in other countries seem to turn their noses up for some reason....

  • For Instagram, you can give them a role on the Facebook Page that's connected to your business's Instagram account.

Other than Fiverr, you can also find in Upwork and Freelancer.
