Advice on Lead Generation and Notification Systems...

Recently I have been thinking about a system for delivering leads to clients and have a couple of ideas, but would appreciate some input(specific tool or software) to make it all work together.
Basically, this is what I have going on:
I have a landing page/squeeze page that I am driving traffic to. The squeeze is basically for people to provide there name, number, etc. so that the business can contact them.
My problem is finding out the best way to get the leads from the squeeze page onto the business owner's employee's front desk as fast as possible.
I was initially thinking of just using aweber and having it notify you through email when a new lead came in the system, but am wondering if there is something better out there.
The key aspect of this is keeping the lead as fresh as possible(making sure that the front desk operator sees the lead came in and contacts them asap), which is why I am wondering if there is something better than just having aweber forward the lead details through e-mail.
If in the end, there were no better solutions, I guess having them check an e-mail account every now and then throughout the day would not be that bad, but I really am hoping someone can enlighten me about a better way to set this up and increase response time when dealing with new, hot leads. (Is there a way to have some sort of notification through a sound or popup in the computer's taskbar?)
