Has anyone tried using XRumor links? If you have, has it made a good impact in your rankings? Do you use them on clients site? Have you used them on a new site? Thanks

I would think you'd be aware of what they can do, especially since profile and sig links are in your "backlink domination" tutorial.

    An fyi:
Having the links on your site open new tabs each time is SUPER annoying.

I am aware of what they do, My question is what experience have others had using a system like XRumor instead of doing it all manually. When I get a few extra minutes, I will fix the pages opening in new windows. I did notice that a while back, but forgot about it.

Xrumer is just a tool, as is any other blackhat tool like Scrapebox. I have a basic rule, I build a handmade quality link. For instance, I just got my site a link on my local chamber of commerce resource section which is a PR 5. I will then xrumer blast that link that points to me. I have personally had the best luck with building link pyramids.

ie. You build some links that point to you and then backlink those links using xrumer. That way, you never have too many links pointing directly to your site at one time.

If you know how they work manually, then you know how they work automated.

There have been tons of discussions on Xrumer, just search for them.

      Don't use them on a client's site.

I love how you're telling him how to not run his business the wrong way. Like everyone else has said though, it's a tool. And thing about automated tools is that you need to have the ability to manually get links, and then apply xrumer in the same fashion, but in an intelligent way.

You use xrumer directly on your clients' sites? If so, you're asking for trouble.

Nothing like building a foundation on sand.

I ordered about 10000 Xrumer links about 3 months ago. As per the service provider, all links would be from forums with PR greater than 2. I paid around $35 and got my reports after 2 days.

I randomly checked links and all of them were live. Based on this I was expecting my website ranking to improve considerably. Fast forward to 3 months and there have been absolutely no improvements in my website ranking at all. But worst of all, no more than 10 of those backlinks are indexed! Only 10 out of 10,000!

Needless to mention that experiment was a complete disaster. What I learned was that at the end of the day, Xrumer is just another mass spamming software. You may rank well in some low competitive niches, but it will never deliver when it comes to ranking for the keyphrases that matters.

Xrumer is a just a automated tool that can give you a blast of thousands of low quality links. I haven't used it but I have used Scrapebox which is similar to Xrumer and results were good.

Xrumer one premierr link building tool which was developed to automatically register profiles and post to forums, blogs and guestbook. but to be honest, I'd prefer all manual work rather than using automated tools for SEO

He's not telling him, he's simply saying an opinion. His opinion also happens to be 100% right. That's like saying "I'm going to fix your car, but I'm going to let my brand new fancy robot tool do everything. It also happens to have a track record of actually de-ranking websites more than ranking them".

Try explaining how you got your client de-ranked, rather than ranked higher.

        Could. Not. Agree. More.

You're lucky then, and pray that they stay #1. You also must be trying to go for relatively low ranked keywords.

Hehe, I've tested that theory on a personal site. Ran 100k links at a "dummy" site filled with content. Went from a PR3 to the sandbox. *sigh* People amaze me, don't ya agree? haha

You should not feed xrumer links directly to your site. If use them at all, you should feed a second or even a third tier of pages that link to your site.

For instance, if you have articles on ezinearticles, you can send xrumer links to those articles.

I am currently trying it out one of my sites. Haven't noticed all that much difference yet although it has only been a couple of weeks.
See how it goes over the next month or two.
