So basically, I have emails of various business owners that I'd like to do SEO and web work for. I just don't want to sound like every other internet marketing spam.
I was thinking about writing something I personally experienced about their product/service. For example, if it's a restaurant owner, I thought about writing, "Hi, I'm James, and I just wanted to write and say the Chop Suey I had last Friday was delicious! "
Do you think they'd respond to that? What other "openers" do you think would work?
