HOSTING sites you build?

I am very new and have 5 sites for businesses. I am charging them $15/mo for hosting. That's already $75 a month in residual income. Anyone out there have like a 100 sites they are hosting or more? I hope everyone implements this into their business model. Seems like it can ad up over time.

Yes I have over 100 customers on my hosting except we charge a bit more a month. The reason we charge this much is that we backup their whole site every month an do a report for them.

Its all about adding value not just hosting

I also have 20 mobile sites we host a small amount a month but we add content to their site regularly for an additional fee.

I prefer to sign up my clients with a host like Hostgator or else and get my affiliate commission. I think hosting can be a complicated issue.

I had a hosting company for a couple of months, making about $3000 p/m but decided to sell it shortly after because dealing with that many customers wasn't worth the reward. Plus, taking into account server backups and custom installations and it takes quite a bit out of your day.

I build the websites, a small upsell is definitely hosting. I don't let them go monthly, they pay for a year in advance and I'll make a monthly backup. Most clients want to spend $10 to go with godaddy, so I match it.... extra $120 a year per client if they decide to host with me. Otherwise I have a $200 transfer fee to other hosting
