Got a bunch of emails back, and one of them really seems interested. However, I don't know how much to charge. Her keyword fields are pretty competitive (going from anywhere around 10K/month to 130K a month). Here is the latest thing she said:

Pricing is very confusing for me. I still don't know how much should I pay the people like you on monthly basis. Let me know what exactly you can offer and for how much.
What do I do, any tips? If I get locked in on a monthly basis, do I need to make sure it stays high? Or for my first client, should I try to just do a one time payment and rank it? Thanks!

better you go with monthly payment, and make sure you know what you want to do with it, i mean the strategy, and stuff you want to do with it.

Monthly payment will be better, and you need to tell her that you will do the maintenance as well included in the monthly fee

Thanks! But nope, I posted an ad on CraigsList and got a few replies pretty quick. Have you had any luck with your site yet?

Charge on monthly basis. I guess from $349 to $599.

I think if you know what you're doing and how hard it is to rank for those keywords judge it off how much your client brings in and within her budget.

    THEN
you can use that as example to attract other clients because you can show and prove.
