    It never ceases to amaze me how many people seem to forget the back of a business card is blank...and how that can be used to make an impression on customers/clients.

    I've recommended to my clients to include things like:

    • Glossary for their customers' niche'
    • Tips for solving XYZ
    • Ruler
    • Standard measurements for clients
    • etc.

    look like they are some good ideas but I will have to put them into action to see if they really work. Hopefully I can start with selling those OPEN led signs soon

    By the way, what do you think if I go into businesses(who don't have the OPEN sign obviously) and use this sales pitch/script, considering that I am a student:
    "Hi,
    I am a college student and I am participating in a entrepreneur competition. I am selling these LED signs at a very affordable price and this is my main idea to win this competition. Would you be interested to buy one? "
    I know this is not good enough(right? ) but since I've never done door to door sales, please give me any suggestion you have.

      Just keep your sales pitch simple and to the point as business owners don't like to waste time and if they want what you are selling they will buy it and if they don't they won't buy it, so just say something like:

      "I noticed you didn't have an open/atm sign and I thought you might like to buy this new one for just $?" (hand the sign to the owner at this point to hold and see)

      At that point the owner will look at it and tell you yes or no if t they want to buy it or they will try to make a deal with you.

      This is an easy sales business as you already know you have something you know they should have, so don't make it harder than it needs to be.

      LOL, no most of my ideas hit me when I'm working with a client and I see a need or when I'm just talking with someone and they will say something and an idea just spark from something they said and then I go home and come up with a way to make that idea work and to be profitable.
