Wow you are cutting yourself extremely short. I'd say you're well over $1,000 low on that package. $250 for just SEO alone is low forget all the other services.

You are lowering the value of these services by only charging $250 a month. You couldn't possibly make a living by only charging that amount for all those services because of the time it would take to deliver everything.

Even if you had 4 clients paying you $250 that's only $1,000 a month and you would so incredibly busy trying to manage everything. Normally I would say outsource those tasks to free up some of your time, but at that rate there's no way you could do that.

I'm not trying to sound harsh, but I think you need to re-do your pricing structure if you truly want to succeed in the offline world.

I'd say it honestly depends on who he is marketing to.

We do appointment setting for seo and ppc, what we've found through feedback from our clients that "local small businesses" your local plumbers, retailers, CPA's, lawyers, heating and air, etc etc can NOT afford 1000 per month.

They think 500 per month is a lot as well. So if he wants to market to those businesses 250 would be an easy sale.

Now if he wants to charge 1000 per month he has to target business with 1.5+ million in annual revenue. We've found that those businesses can afford that spend.

But I do agree regardless that maybe 250 for the seo but OP, it seems as though you are working too hard and not making enough.

Totally agree with what you are saying, but look at it this way. Selling a house that has a value of $200,000 for $50,000 is an easy sale too, but you are killing your potential profits by doing this.

Also, in my past experience almost ALL the lower paying customers are the biggest pains in the A**. Would you rather have 1 client paying you $1,000 a month or 4 clients paying you $250 a month? Do you think it's possible to get that 1 client paying you the $1,000 a month in the same time it would take for you to get 4 clients paying you $250.

It does comes down to who you want to market too. Do you want more low paying customers or less high paying customers? I can tell you right now the road with less headaches is less higher paying customers.

that is my most basic package and this is not a lot of work on each service. they pay the lower anount because the results are gradual but solid. i try to have the customers for as long as possible with constantly giving them better rankings than the previous month.

It really depends on what the client wants or needs. I will do an analysis of their online presence and their competitors and then give them the suggestions. We usually go from there and it's been an average of $2,500 and if they want me exclusively for them in their industry then it's around $1500/ month. That includes all my services.

I offer marketing and get them leads and clients. I do the work and get paid $100 a lead and $250 a client.

However, this is not and was not meant to be my primary business. I just started making my own lists and selling online from home. I was telling some friends. Someone approached me, I didn't really want to do outside work so priced it high thinking they would say "no" but they went for it. Then they tell others and there you go.

I have a variety of packages as well ranging from around $250 to $2000 a month. One thing I try to do is get to know the business and offer the best services I can for each one. Sure it's a bit more time consuming and might not be the most profitable thing for me to do (as most businesses have no idea what they need), but that's the way I like to do business.

Not everybody needs SEO and not everybody needs PPC, so I have several packages available for different business needs.

Sure this may change as my business grows, but as of right now that's how I've been running it.

I think $250 a month depends on how much he is doing. If it's like 2 to 3 hours of work sure why not. if he is putting real effort into it he is selling himself way short.

I don't care how you end up pricing you have to have a minimum hourly rate at least. Like I pointed out before in other threads I think for most in out industry that rate is about $100 to $200 per billable hour.

$6,000 to $10,000 to make their website sell. This includes strategy, market positioning, copywriting and structuring the website so visitors can find what they want and take action. No design or any promotion services offered (can be done on the backend).

Clients who are 1 person businesses get the $6,000 package. Businesses with employees who can leverage the results more effectively normally pay $10,000.

Most people can find the money if they trust that you can offer more value to their business.

Nice work Zulfikar! I like the mixture between the classic look and the modern design it seems to have. I also feel that the colors are very happy and uplifting, I love those colors in my kitchen. I can honestly say that if I had this I would probably keep the bottle and use it for something else (depending on the size) after the olive oil was gone.

For $250 you're offering quite a lot in my opinion. For $250 I'd SEO one kw per month for them.

It's my experience with my local marketing service, and other home business that when you charge a smaller rate (in comparison to your competition), you're more likely to deal with a high maintenance client. Seems crazy, but I've had clients that paid $250 per month and others that have paid $5,000 per month and it NEVER fails that any issues I ever ever had with clients was from the lower budget clientele.

Obviously you have to start somewhere and develop some references. But my point is that once you develop a few good references start charging more for your services. Package them together for a "value" but makes sure you are charging a fair rate for your time and services but with bigger rates come bigger expectations. Make sure you can deliver results.
