OFFLINE MARKETING

i'm new on the linked in scene but it seems like a great took to find business owners and potential clients. For those who market their business/services on linked in, is there a specific way you go about contact the business owners? What kind of groups do you join (your own kind of groups and groups in their niches) Where can you post offers in groups where people wont get pissed at seeing it.

Just build up on connections on linkedin and whenever you update something your blog or website, or got something to share, share it on linkedin as well.

It's also worth going through the Groups and Answers section of LinkedIn as they're full of people looking for answers, information and connections.

It's a good way to connect with both other people in your industry to share info on what works - and what doesn't - as well as potential customers.

Aside from advertising, sites such as LinkedIn.com also offer advice in some instances from industry experts. These are people that have been in your shoes and walked the path that you're trying to follow. They can give you sound advice on what to do, how to do it, and when to make the right move. Career oriented individuals pay much more attention to ads and offers during this time in their lives, as anything may be a potential job opportunity.

LinkedIn is great for networking like minded people. You can find business partners, Investors and leads for your business there very easily.

Can anyone recommend a good LinkedIn WSO that, you know, actually describes methods for getting leads and not just how to fill out my profile?

  but this worked for me! I got 3 clients in 3 weeks of doing this and am up to 14 recommendations on LinkedIn (really helps to validate your position as an offline marketer)

LinkedIn is a great place to start your business promotions online. Advantages are more and LinkedIn basically provides a great opportunity for business. Since all professionals join LinkedIn, it is a major source of customers technically. Most of the individuals are already on it and beginning their development , and you should too . By including relationships, you improve the chances that individuals will see your information first when they are in look for of someone to seek the services of or do business with. Moreover to showing at the top of google look for , individuals would much rather work with individuals who their buddies know and believe in and that's why LinkedIn is popular.
