Tracking Monthly Sales & Statistics - Excel doc/Program?

Hey guys,

Since my business is booming I'd like to get some more statistics and key performance indicators so I can analyze the progress at the end of each month and so on... I was wondering if anyone here have some excel templates or can recommend me an application/program to buy?

I've used Salesforce in the past to track leads, opportunities, and closed sales. They have a sales funnel system built into the system whereby you can update each prospect to determine what part of the funnel they're in. You can then run monthly reports to report on closed sales, lost deals, etc.
