What do you mean by sales calls????

    Cold calls?
Or actual sales calls? Where someone has inquired about a service?

I run my own outsourcing site together with a partner and I've been through a lot of freelance sites too. There are a lot of people who outsource this kind of thing. If you are considering it, think about the following:

    - Hire someone trustworthy (ie if you're planning to allow to use a credit filled skype account, etc)
    - Hire someone who has had this kind of experience before (so you can just give them the instructions on what you want specifically and they can independently carry it out. less training too)
    - Hire someone who has really great accent (ie people from the countries that you've mentioned are good at English, well some aren't, but you'd still have to find someone who sounds good to help make your call successful)

I would personally go for outsourcing to the Philippines. Most people there speak great English, they offer reasonable rates and they're willing to work nights to fit your timezone.

im actually doing that right now, for the past 2 weeks. i hired people from the Philippines. i extract leads from yellow pages, and tell them to do the cold calling. and then tell them to give me the interested or "hot" leads. you can easily pay them 2.22 from odesk and give some commission on everyone you closed. you need them to send you a voice recording to test their english.
so far i got like 6 hot leads, but cant close any. problem is probably my selling sucks. what i recommend is doing everything yourself first, and then train them.

    • Just to clarify - I would need someone to make cold calling.
They do not need to make sales , I can close them.
All I need is to filter out all the "NO" people.

How do you pay them ?
Do you pay upfront for the calls and after that pay them some bonus for "hot" leads ?

      Thanks for sharing !

I use oDesk for everything their platform is easy to use. I had a Phillipino lady working for me to sell Facebook Page Design to business, but I did not make any sales.

i tell them they would need to make 200 calls per day. and pay them like 10-15 dollars whenever i closed a client. im wondering, have you used odesk before? if you have, then you would know how to pay them, if not, then you need to go test it out.

Been down that road a few times a few times with good reuslts most of the time with very poor results.

The problem is that most work from Home types don't really want to work. They want paid per hours and are not willing to show any proof of work completed. They expect you to "trust" they are making the 200 calls etc even with no sales appointments etc

Best way per sale or per appointment (hard to find to be honest but they are out there)

If they want paid X per hour Demand call logs daily( this is a standard in the indrust no matter what some many want to claim) of who was called and disposition of each and every call made if they refuse look else where.

Skype with some kind of recording system will ensure that you know how many calls are being made. And you can listen to the calls to hear what's happening.

You can find people who are willing to call. However, if they do not speak perfect English, they won't have credibility. They can make 100+ calls a day and get nowhere.

If words are mispronounced, the gatekeepers and decision makers are going to instantly think--fairly or unfairly--"Woah, this person can't help me. They can't even pronounce the things they profess to be experts at correctly."

What you want is called an appointment setter. Use that search function...it's been discussed many, many times before. Pay an hourly rate plus performance bonus.
