Hey Warriors,

I am looking for a new cold email script that I can send out to businesses to generate leads for Google Local services I am offering. Does anyone know of any good examples I could see? Looking to get some feedback on what has and hasn't worked for some of you.

I am also cold calling and sending out warm emails.

Thanks guys

Well then I guess it's up to me and you to keep this alive. I will start it by sharing what I currently do. I start by cold calling, if the decision maker is there, I go for the gold. if they are not there I get as much info as I can from the gatekeeper so that I can send a warm email.

I also want to start sending cold emails but I wanted to get some feedback first about what is working for others. I guess the warm and cold email would not have many differences but I am looking for ideas on both.

C'mon people share some of our golden email nuggets. Everyone is always so quick to say how much better it is than others methods, but it seems they don't want to share much.

Do you keep a detailed CRM and do you have a call cycle in place?

I rarely use emails to 'sell' or 'market' a product/service.

Typically I put prospects on a 3 month call cycle. During my phone time my initial close is only to get them onto my mailing list, not to buy my product. I then use this list to build my brand in a non-sales capacity with an auto-responder, eg send helpful tips and how-to information that is relevant to my product. This help make it easier to close on the second/third etc call as you've built a level of expertise in the eyes of the prospect.

      Hey pogo,

I do have a crm that I keep detailed info in. I take note of everything that goes on during these calls. The three month cycle you describe sounds great, but it's not for me. To me all the effort that goes into maintaining would be better spent on calling prospects that are ready to spend money now. If not they can save my email and contact me when they are.

The purpose of the email would not be to make the sale, just to get them to reply or call me. If they do that means they are interested, after asking them some questions I can determine if they are ready to spend. I just need a well written email (a couple of them), some info about how to structure these emails. I'm new to email marketing and copy writing, any info is great.

    Another quick note.

I built my list from 300 to 3500 highly targeted relevant prospects in under 10 months just by adding the line 'would you prefer us to contact you via email for future promotions' at the end of every outbound call.

My number 1 piece of advice is to ask every prospect you speak to this question at the end of every conversation.
