Database with SMS integration for appointment confirmation

Does anyone know if this type of software exists?

For example, say you were a mechanic that also performed MOT tests, if you have a database to record MOT expiry dates which integrates with SMS to auto send out reminders, this would be an effective, time saving tool.

Having the freedom to then send out seasonal messages promoting winter / summer vehicle checks would also enable upselling & ongoing interaction with the customer base.

I know some dentists have a system of some sorts but I am not sure if they have the two functions combined.

    I was looking to develop such soft, web based service for businesses, but my (then)business partner responsible for the tech stuff preffered his life style ( traveling and partying) over the millions we could made. The service is still on the back burner...
    Such software would send email and/or sms reminders to the customers of auto shops, beauty salons, doctors/dentists based on the trigers set by client ( oil change, manicure, teeth cleaning, appointment reminder). The soft will include crm as well.
    Hopefuly will finish it this year.

    Sounds like you're looking for an API integration with SMS.
    This is standard with most Mobile Marketing platforms.
