I know it's old school, but still effective.

I am looking to outsource this service for my clients as to be honest it's getting too heavy to keep on top of all the rules and regs etc and I find it a dull and boring thing to do. (wow what a great sales pitch!!)

So we are based in the UK so whoever does it would need to know the UK laws on spam and email etc but does anyone have any recommendations for who to use , don't see many listings on the Warriors for hire for email yet theres money in it for sure (I know there is as Im making some) .

Typical new clients (as we now deal with the bigger companies) will need dedicated VPS and mail server hosting for the email , cross email compatability and including mobile , spam checking and maybe 4 similar but separate eshot designs

Using the ODesk type of route is possible but needs trail and error which we cant really afford to risk so any pointers would be great please and thankyou.

Doing it for yourself is one thing.... doing it for clients opens up a lot of liability on your part. Setting it up on your own server is even worse, there is a lot involved and pretty soon every single email sent from your IP address will be blacklisted.

I would reconsider offering it to clients.

I've done plenty of email marketing for clients but it's always
double optin and I use Aweber.

Generally speaking I use email to follow up with the existing
customers and prospects of a business (capture their email
addresses from the brick and mortar business location in
    some way).

And I use it to follow up with visitors to their website.

And yes email marketing in this way can be very effective
    for many businesses.

I've never attempted using it in the way you're suggesting.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh

    Hi, thanks

this company have a 20k list of their clients/ prospects. all legit to receive the mails etc, yes I agree, I normally use the Aweber route, setting the forms up etc etc and going from there while adding a few existing contacts for the clients.
This one is bigger , more lucrative, possibly more hassle but they don't want much doing really, I'm looking to see if the likes of Get Response (as a quick well known example) can handle it .
The prospects have a quote from a email company who will be setting up dedicated VPS/mail servers for this , this is something I can do with my hosting providers too but then how/what can I use for the actual emailing .

Money wise it's worth it the figures they've been quoted and were happyish with and what thay are already paying for some other services show that, longer term theres more clients available for this via the same source too if I can get it going
