Fade-In LightBox Effect - Do you know how to do it?

Hi y'all

Anyone know of a script for adding a fade-in lightbox effect on a timer?

Not an opt-in form; obviously I can do that with Aweber. Just a resizable, timered notification box.

If you could point me in the right direction or PM me with how much it'd cost me, that'd be awesome.

Thanks!

Here's a list of ten different lightbox plugins for the jQuery library - 10+ promising jQuery Lightbox-Clones Plugin. (jQuery is a powerful JavaScript library. Among other uses, it now comes standard with WordPress and is used for all the Ajax effects in WP.)

I've worked with several of those lightbox plugins. I could help you integrate one of them with your page. If you want to pick one, and if you want help with the integration, PM me and we can work something out.

@Steve: Thanks very much for the list. It's all a little bit technical for me, though, to be honest. Not that I'm scared of it all; I'm not. But that stuff is just going to take me too long to understand.

If I want to integrate one of those into a page, I'll definitely PM you. Thanks again.

@prtt75: Thanks for that other link, too. That script looks sweet. Not quite what I'm looking for, I don't think, but thanks all the same.

Actually, I found something else at Dynamic Drive that's a little bit closer to what I'm after:

Dynamic Drive DHTML Scripts- Drop-in content box

I'm trying to use it on a Wordpress-powered site and something weird is happening...

-- In Internet Explorer, it's working fine.

-- But in Firefox, it's freaking out. The images for the header and some of the page elements and images are overlapping the image in the drop-in box. It's weird.

Perhaps it's conflicting with another js on the page... dunno.

Any ideas why it's doing that?

    Thanks,
