Learning to build a modern web application is daunting. Ruby on Rails makes it much easier and more fun. It includes everything you need to build fantastic applications, and you can learn it with the support of the large and friendly community.

I'd suggest you to continue learning HTML, CSS and JS. Then you will just be a front-end web developer. There's no need to learn all the existed programming languages, it's a waste of time and won't give great results. You can continue with what you know, I bet you will find so many new things for yourself. And of course, each language has frameworks and learning it will definitely make you a better developer.

Ashton hit it on the head. Continue with HTML/CSS/JS. The stronger you are in this, the easier your transition into PHP/Python/Ruby/.NET ....

To add what others have put, here are a couple of resources that may help you:
Look for the Wes Bos 30 day javascript lesson. It's free, and it rocks. Each day for a month you do straight js exercises, each about 30 minutes long.

After this your js kung fu should be ready to build something cool, so look at React, or Vue if you prefer.

At this point you will be a rock star and ready to start looking at Laravel/Symfony/Ruby/.Net .... STOP. You need to watch this first:
Set up a free month at Lynda and watch Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design, by Simon Allardice. What you learn here will pay you back 10 fold when you start diving into deep development.

Good luck with your adventure, and hit me up if you have any questions

I would try to find a language I am interested in and do a search on job boards (Indeed) in your local city/ country to find out what programming skills are in high demand.
