How does this sales tracking script actually work?
Hey all,
I'm guessing at least a few of you have heard of Tracking202 (or Prosper202), right?
Well, if not, it's basically a 3rd party tracking service that allows you to track links from clicks to conversions.
But what I don't get is -
They can also track your affiliate sales...and you don't need to put any conversion code on the thankyou pages (because usually you can't as it's not your product) and there's no pixel firing (again for the same reason).
So, how does the script know when you've made a sale through an affiliate product, on a site which you don't own?
