Can I get an SSL certificate to do this? Any cheap ones?

I've got a problem

I have a website, www.mistermanpower.net, and I have it secured by a Thawte SSL certificate, so now its https://www.mistermanpower.net

however, I also own the domain http://mistermanpower.net (without the www.)

now that I have secured the www. site, all kinds of errors come up when somebody tries to reach the non www. site.

how can I resolve this? Are there any cheap SSL certificates that can secure both Https://www.mistermanpower.net AND https://mistermanpower.net?

let me know and thanks!

    I see nowhere you need a security certificate. What is the point of it? Orders are not taken on your site. Usually you just want to secure the section of your site that takes personal information and not the entire site.

      for your information, these are valid needs that men have, and I have the answers for them.

      I asked about the SSL certificate, not your opinion on my site, but thanks anyway

      Correct - in terms of ssl certs - www and sitename.com are not the same.

      You can purchase a wildcard cert which is expensive which covers them all or grab a seperate cert for your domainname.com - GeoTrust - RapidSSL for 9.95 is the cheapest and quick to set up.

        What you really want to do is pick one, either you want the www. in your URL or you don't. * certs are for true subdomains like admin. shopping. etc

        You dont want www.site.com and site.com to be valid, google hates this. You just want to setup a permanant redirect for www. to site.com or vice versa.

        Edit: But looks like your site is doing that anyways ... guess I missed the boat on this

    You dont need a cert for www and non-www.. you just need one ssl cert and basic re-direction

    Also is bad practice to ssl an entire site.. specially landing pages and home pages... you should ssl areas that really need it.. it improves performance overall.
